Ultrasac Compactor Bags

The issues vary but aren't consistent so not precisely sure why they occur. Sometimes as bag fills up, it slips off. We have to cut slits in sides to fit into the compactor knobs that hold it in place, sometimes slips off the knobs. The plastic itself is pretty good. We pack in plenty and compact a good deal, the plastic bag doesn't rip, pop or otherwise leak.Despite these small issues, they don't seem to affect the durability of the bags. For the price point each bag works out to approximately .50 cents a bag, and this can't be beat.Fitting the bag. Not very easy, our compactor is rectangular, sharp edges. Slipping the bag on is always a bit of a chore, getting it over edges but after that, it's smooth sailing. Isn't the worst thing but for some could be a turn off. There may be better quality products out there, but this is pretty good despite the small issues stated and the price point is fair, in my opinion.

the bags are very nice. they are strong and easy to tie. Very clean if there is a strong smell in the garbage these will do.

I have used these bags in our Kenmore trash compactor exclusively for the past five months. These heavy-gauge bags are made in the USA from recycled plastic. Work great. On 4th box. Only issues I have found. They pull pull down on the sides when you compact it. Just have to pull the sides back-up and reput over outside compactor. The last box how ever they are a little smaller then the 3 boxes before. Still work well just harder to put over the sides.But the price is 1/3 that of the others, and 1/5th paper compactor bags.

Good price, and as others have said the material is nice and thick and unlikely to tear. Unfortunately the seams along the sides are shoddy and defective - taking a bag out of the box is often enough to start a side seam delaminating, and on the majority of bags the seal is so weak that you can split it with one hand (see video). It doesn't really matter how heavy duty the material is if it just opens up on its own along a seam.Hard pass.

Thought I would try these. I have found others that had handles that were 1.8 mil, with these being 2ml they had to be thicker, which they are. I really like them. Some people may not think about this, but I use them for my regular garbage can because they are So much more thicker then garbage bags. So when I opened the box, I was really disappointed, there were no ties, none, and this box is of 40 bags, I mean how many people have that many ties hanging around their house. So I contacted the company, they said that they would mail them to me and that was over a week ago and still nothing. I am running out of the ties that I do have. I like how thick they are, but there are no ties which is a deal breaker to me. They said they are supposed to have ties, but I'm not going to take another chance, this is a 40 bag box. Update: 4-26-2025. I have received the ties, so the company does make good, I received a box that just didn't have any. Update 2-13-2026. I've ordered these again by mistake, I knew I had ordered them before because it said I did, but I've ordered several different ones, a the time didn't realize they were the ones with ties. I want to cancel this but can't seem to, yet they have not been shipped. I'm not happy with this company that they will honor my request and cancel

Great bags. Very tough. I use them to line my backpack on Muti day hikes. White makes the contents easy to find and keeps everything safe from water.

Those bags are a fraction of the cost of the ones recommended for my compactor. The only small inconvenient, the holes to attach them to the compactor are absent. A small price to pay for an excellent product. Highly recommended.

Good to take hiking to put all dry stuff in, my hydration bladder leaked and everything remained dry, bag didn't rip either.

Very happy with these bags, we are renovating our house and were using the husky brand bags to get rid of construction debris (the husky brand is great btw) just too large for the weight that I can lift! Half the bag space was going to waste! Found these bags that are half the size and only .5 thinner, the plastic is super durable and the small bag is easier to lift/manage
