Even wear them outside to get the mail or take out the trash. I usually go thru at least 2 pairs per year. Even the name brands will fall apart on me in no time.Usually the soles fall apart. Not these.The soles are actually stiched to the leather. No glue to disintegrate. The insoles and all the lining are a very soft medium-nap acrylic faux fur. I've had issues where the insoles tend to tear out, but after 7 plus months of daily use, there is no sign of insole loosening or any damage or wear on these except for the expected loss of tread on the soles.My feet measure 10.5 US exactly. I purchased 11 and they fit great barefoot or with normal socks. They are a little snug with thick socks, so I would say they run approximately 1/2 size small.I paid $30 for them. Considering I usually pay $15 a pair for the ones that fall apart in a few months, I consider these well worth the price and will definitely purchase again.Update: over a year and a half, these are STILL in great shape. No signs of stitching coming apart. First pair was purchased in December of 2018. I wore them every day when I got home from work, and once the pandemic started I wore them every day practically all day. Now it’s April 2021 and I finally had to get a new pair. I researched and concluded these are still the best slippers for the price. But here is a great tip! My second pair is in Rootbeer Brown, which are so dark they are almost black, and the price was $18 for the pair because this color is less popular. Just got them today and they look great to me. I’m looking forward to another 2-3 years of daily use. Great materials, great construction, and super comfortable. Cant go wrong with these. I wear size 11 and ordered size 11. The fit is just right. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Soft, Warm and Priced Right *by B***A on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2012* Initially I was reluctant to order these mocs as I was not impressed with other brands of similar or comparable specs and price. They usually wore down quickly and the faux pas fur was not as warm as advertised. But to get some really nice ones, you would have to spend at least $80 to $100... for slippers! I saw these and looked at them for about a month before settling in mind to purchase them. Well, I can tell you... it was worth it. I had not heard of Tamarac before and I had read reviews on these mocs and the company itself... all pretty good. I work from home about 80% of the time and this winter, these mocs have become my best friend! They are warm, the faux pas fur is holding up despite heavy use and the bottom rubberized soles are holding up very, very well. Stitching is far better than expected and the suede feel is really nice.The only negative, if this is what you want to call it, is that I would recommend you get a half size or one full size larger if you plan on wearing socks with these mocs. I bought my size and I quickly found out that wearing socks and mocs together are tighter than expected. I should have "listened" to other reviewers suggesting this... don't make this mistake... if you like wearing socks with your mocs (nice little ring to this), get a half or larger size. One 'small' negative... is that they did not have my size in black and I really wanted the black pair but the tan is just fine.Overall, I love these mocs and would recommend them to everyone.
