This pan is a dream for making/cutting and eating cheesecakes, but butter will leak through when in the oven causing smoke to blow from my oven and the occasional flare-up, this is easily resolved with a catch pan underneath. Mind you butter and not batter ever gets through. Going on one year now, this has seen a lot of use. We regularly bake cakes, and this spring form has met the challenge. It doesn't leak, it cooks evenly, releases well. I like to clamp a sheet of parchment paper over the bottom to make removal of the baked goods easy and clean. After a year, I give its performance and durability thumbs up! Loved using this! It was very easy to take off the cake when done. The cake cooked well and got many compliments on how moist it was. I was able to easily make a two layer cake and a novice.

Very easy to clean and with proper directions as easy to use. Do not use liquid recipes because the pan will leak. Example: Flan

This is a perfect fit in my 4-quart slow cooker. About a dozen cheesecakes later, still no signs of leaking. I do lightly grease it before using; however, the one time I forgot it wasn't an issue at all. Absolutely nothing stuck.
