Is this a good starting point in the series? also am i missing anything big by not getting dlc?

I would say it’s a good jumping on point. The dlc is fun but I wouldn’t say it’s needed to enjoy the game.

Mine said chinese subs on the back. does anyone know if you can still change the subtitle to english? i don't want to open it and be screwed.

Although I don’t have the same exact game with this issue, but my OG moondweller have the same issue and only display in Chinese, lucky I do read Chinese as well

If your talking about Changing Language sub, you cant, and if you want to use the dlc for this version....you must have Asia ps4 account.

Amazing game

Fire emblem meets giant robots what more do you want. Just make sure to chuck it on hardest mode if you are a turn based veteran for a nice challenge.
