I have been suffering from hyperhidrosis, mainly on my nose. It really has been awful, my nose would start sweating and I would get so embarrased that my whole face would start sweating. This issue has affected my life so badly. I've been on buses and had to get off because I could not stop my face sweating. Ive walked out of the banks many times, shopping centres,resturants, queues to pay for things, classroom and not to mention the countless social situations I've avoided because of this. I came across Sweat Block by chance. I was looking for something that would stop my feet sweating and slipping when I wear heels. I read the reviews and without a second thought I bought it. Delivery came on time and the product was packaged well. Ive been using it for three weeks now and I can honestly say, WOW!!! Its very easy to apply. Its like a wet wipe when you remove the wrapper. I apply this to my nose firstly as thats were I usually start sweating first. It has a very potent smell, I put tissue up my nose so I dont inhale it XD small effort for such a good result. I press it against my nose then I do my forehead and then the rest of my face. I DONT WASTE ANY OF THIS STUFF... while my face is drying I use the wipes under the bottom of my feet and rub it on the palm of my hands until the wetness from the wipe is more or less gone. After that I put my feet up, watch tv till it all drys. One side effect I find is that its makes me wanna itch parts of my face. I tend to just lightly tap that part of my face or use my facial muscles to move my face :D Once it drys I got off to bed. It last the whole week for me. No sweating when I get on the bus or train which is so so amazing, just no sweating at all. It helps my feet issue also, I can wear my heels without my feet getting sweaty and slipping down. My hands last about a day or so, I do wash them and apply lotion alot so thats to be ecpected. Be careful if you have sensitive skin, not even sure this should be used on the face but it works for me. Also when applying it dont rub it on your skin. Read instuctions carefully :)

I’ve been using Sweatblock Wipes for a while now and they’ve made a noticeable difference. They’re very effective at reducing sweat and eliminating odour — exactly what I needed. The results last for days, which is impressive. That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of. The wipes can cause slight irritation at first, especially if you have sensitive skin, but that tends to go away once your skin adjusts. Also, the scent of the wipes isn’t great — not terrible, just not pleasant. Despite those small issues, I’d still say they’re well worth the purchase. If you struggle with excessive sweating, this product is definitely worth trying.

I work with people and often find myself in public places where I move a lot and tend to perspire. I'd never heard of this product before, so decided to give a try, based on positive feedback from other buyers. I followed the instructions and applied the wipe to a dry and clean skin, just before going to bed. I felt slight tingling sensation when applying the product, but no pain or discomfort during or after. The product has a unique chemical smell, though it isn't strong and doesn't stay on for long. And the product does work - the next day and for at least the next week I did feel dryer and less smelly. This lasted for around 7-10 days, at which point I feel like I need to apply another wipe. All that said, the price is a BIG turn off, you only get 8 Wipes in the pack - this is not a good value for money. I have no idea why it is this expensive.

This product works, without a doubt. It depends on where you are using it on your body as to how long it lasts, but where ever you put it, it doesn't last as long as they state in the advert. There is no way you will get 7 days protection on a single use - you might get 48 hours at best, but I would say you shouldn't look past one of these lasting you past 24 hours to be on the safe side. Maybe it works differently on different people but for me it's 24 hours protection only. Even 24 hours protection would be acceptable if the price was not so high for what you are getting. I could understand the price being that high if this was some techie gadget with various parts which required assembling, but for for a wipe I just can't understand why they are so expensive. The two reasons I mentioned here are the reasons why these only get 3 stars from me. One, they do not protect for as long as they claim, and two, they are so expensive, that as they don't last as long you will have to buy loads more making them even more expensive that they verge on being extortionate.

Easy to use and dry quickly .. very effective

I am the kind of guy that sweats as soon as the sun sees me on a busy day. Putting on a nice shirt for a party, and before I even get there, I got those annoying sweat spots in the armpits. I hate it, and it's one of those things that makes me buy black clothes, only because it hides the sweat spots. I have tried a lot of things - from normal anti-perspirant from the supermarket, to pharmacy anti-perspirants with higher levels of Aluminum chloride. But none of it worked, and the pharmacy roll-ons just burned my skin. So I was a bit nervous when I bought this - mostly because it has a higher level of Aluminum chloride, but also because it could've been a waste of money. But oh boy, was I wrong... I opened the package and read the instructions on how to apply it. Took a shower before bedtime, opened a towelette and wiped it under my arms. Went to my bed with the arms above my head and turned on the fan and waited like that for 10 minutes. And that was it. No burning sensation, no itching - nothing! It had a weird smell though - kinda like cinnamon, but not that bad, and definitely not a deal-breaker. The next morning I woke up, put on a shirt and went out. This is during the summer period, so it's warm enough outside for me to start sweating, but this time.... nothing! Literally NOTHING! I thought that maybe it was just me, but then I went to the gym, and it was the same. I was sweating, but my armpits were dry! This is a miracle! This lasted for AT LEAST 3 days, and probably also 4. I also tried it on my back, neck and forehead - I do not recommend this, since they are not supposed to be used anywhere else than the armpits, and to be fair, I didn't have the same results there, so for me, it worked 100% under the arms and therefore I can definitely recommend this product. I am gonna have these laying around all the time now, and use them whenever I'm gonna wear a nice shirt or something like that. Not an everyday product, because they are kinda "high strength" as they say, but if you're going to a party and would want to avoid the sweaty armpits, apply this the night before and you're all good the next day! 5 stars from me!

Honestly im very very impressed with it. I have suffered from hyperhidrosis since im 10 years old, I've tried all kinds of antiperspirant throughout the years and all have had minimal effect and burned my skin. I tried sweat block wipes as my last resort as I had an event coming up. Instant results the next day. The first time lasted me about 3 days, I use it every 4-5 days at the moment for the last 2 months and my armpits, groin and under my breasts have been completely dry. Im amazed at how well it works as I thought I would never find something. Its well worth the price. One wipe covers my underarms, under breasts and groin. Make sure to follow instructions and dab the wipe, dont rub it.

I've suffered from excessive sweating since I was a teenager and never dared wear anything other than black shirts because I was so embarrassed about the sweat marks under my arms. We're talking the kind of sweating where I could feel the beads of sweat running down my ribcage. It was incredibly embarrassing and messed with my self conficende for years. No matter how much I showered or how fit I got, the sweat was always there. I've been using sweat block for a few years now and it's been a total game changer. When I first applied it, I instantly felt a considerable reduction of sweat in the following days, maybe down to 20% of what it was before. Applied it once a week for 4-5 weeks and the sweating completely stopped at that point. Forgot to use it for a while and the sweat came back, of course, it's only a temporary fix. But it's the same effect every time, a few weeks of application and I'm sweat-free for quite a while, I can totally forget about it for 2-3 months and then start the routine again when I feel the sweat returns. Absolutely fantastic and saves me some money! I don't have any side effects apart from occasional itching in my armpits, but I apply a bit of aloe vera cream and it's fine again. I can't recommend this product enough, it's finally given me the confidence to wear lighter colours and not carry around a spare t-shirt when out and about because I'd have to change at some point from being a sweaty mess.

Of all the reviews I have ever left on Amazon, this one has to be not only one of the earliest postings after receiving the product, but also one of the most satisfying to write. I want to start off by saying that surprisingly, I don't sweat under my arms excessively, ever. In fact I don't really sweat under my arms at all. I can work outside all day and use some dollar store brand of anti perspirant and come away at the end of a hot day with at the most, a slight dampness under my arms. It's truly the only place on my body where I don't sweat. I wouldn't have any use for this product if that was the end of the story, but its not. My problem is sweating on the face and forehead. Even in a situation where it is rather cool and dry and everyone around me seems to be comfortably settled in with dry hair and faces, it at times can be pouring off me, sometimes relentlessly, for hours even. Anyone that has ever had such a problem well knows how embarrassing and unsightly this can be. Any "solution" to the problem in the past ran the gamut of stuffing my pockets with paper towels to just making excuses for not showing up for some event or whatever when you know its going to be unbearably hot. Over the years I have tried many drug store brands of so called super powered sweat controlling anti perspirants just to have them be relentlessly ineffective and a waste of money. It is, and has been a problem that I thought up till now had no solution. Then I discovered Sweat Block.. Sweat Block, (SB) has been so effective for me for this problem that it almost qualifies as a miracle drug. In fact its only by the favor of excessive sweating never actually killing anyone that keeps it out of that miraculous category. SB is nothing more than some highly concentrated formula of aluminum chloride or something or other that is found in many anti perspirants. But trust me, the similarity ends there. They don't work,....This does, fantastically. The box comes with 8 sealed towelettes that are soaked with the formula that you tear open and dab on your skin. It's clear, near odorless, and dries in a jiffy. Just to get the facts straight, SBs instructions clearly state that it's for "underarms only". But after reading the dazzling reviews of this stuff here I just couldn't resist. I figured the worst that could happen is that I would lose $20 and end up looking like the sweating slob I always do under the mildest of conditions. From the very first morning after applying it, it was obvious that this stuff was as superbly effective as most of the glowing reviews here attest too. I simply stopped sweating, period. When pushed to the limit of activity or heat, a slight dampness or "sheen" would appear on my face that was not at all long lasting, nor embarrassing. I felt like a new man. I have been actually going out of my way to sweat and enjoying the dryness that I am so unfamiliar with. It is important that you use this product as described in the directions. Your underarms/head should be dry, and remain dry for at least 3 hours after application. (Which is the reason why they recommend applying it just before bed). Given these simple rules, I can only tell you this stuff is as effective and satisfying as anything I can ever remember purchasing in a personal hygiene category. As for being a renegade and using it on my forehead and face as opposed to my underarms, I can only tell you that personally I have suffered absolutely no tingling, redness, rash, or anything else detrimental with my alternative use. Despite Sweat Blocks explicit but simply stated warning that its for underarm use only, I feel compelled to recommend it to anyone that suffers such a problem as I do. (And I know I am far from alone with it). It's worth a shot and one time expense, I promise you. One last helpful hint. As stated already, SB comes in sealed packets as a moist towelette. I don't know if its that my forehead or face is smaller than a pair of underarms, or that I am just cheaper than the average Joe in trying to use the towelettes twice. But in any event, I have learned that dabbing my face with the pads and then just resealing the still moist towelette inside the packets again tightly with tape or a paper clip has afforded me double the use of each pad, with no reduction in its effectiveness. I simply tear open the packet, apply, reseal it, and then use the same towelette 5 days later and one box lasts near 16 weeks instead of 8. (Like a lot of others here, I like the 5 day rule of reapplication instead of the promised seven, just to make sure). This may not work for all people depending on how bad your sweating problem is. But for me personally, double use has just added an extra smile of satisfaction to an already stunningly effective product. This cost saving (cheap) test run on yourself may be very much worth trying as well. In conclusion, whether your problem with sweating is on your face or head, or just the sentimental favorite underarms, I give Sweat Block my highest recommendation. This product has been a Godsend to me, and it just may be to you too... : )

Previous review: After 2 weeks of using this product I am posting a review. This sweat block comes in a sealed packet which is something comparable with wet wipes. You can use a packet over night. Under a small heat or temperature increase around the environment, you again sweat a lot even after usage of this product. I was quite amazed by seeing the advertisement but only after usage of this product, I am highly dissatisfied.

Desde pequeño he sufrido de mucha sudoración, no sólo en las axilas, sino también en otras partes del cuerpo. Esto naturalmente tuvo un impacto significativo en mi vida: siempre me daba miedo levantar el brazo y que se viera mojada mi playera o camisa en la zona de las axilas. Además, después de sudar tanto la ropa, ésta se llega a manchar y aunque la laves se notan esas manchas amarillas. Con el paso del tiempo descubrí que a este padecimiento de sudar excesivamente se le llama hiperhidrosis. Utilicé muchos distintos tipos de desodorantes y antitranspirantes, incluso algunos que decían ser "con potencia clínica/médica" y ninguno me funcionó. Hasta tenía que cuidar qué tipo de ropa me ponía y usaba, buscando que no se fuese a notar muy mojada en la zona de las axilas cuando comenzara a sudar. Finalmente encontré dos productos que vinieron a cambiar mi vida radicalmente y a darme la libertad que tanto había deseado para poder levantar el brazo sin miedo a que mi camisa fuese a estar mojada en la zona de mis axilas. Uno de dichos productos es justamente éste. Este producto consiste en unas pequeñas toallitas húmedas con las cuales uno debe humedecer sus axilas. Dentro de la caja del producto, vienen 8 sobres, cada uno con una toallita húmeda (en total ocho toallitas húmedas). En sí la caja recomienda que se aplique una vez a la semana, pero yo encuentro que para sentirme cómodo y no estarme preocupando por si ya se le está acabando el efecto, se deben aplicar dos veces a la semana (cada tres o cuatro días). Una compradora comentaba que lo que a ella le funciona, es una vez que abre y usa una toallita húmeda, la guarda en una bolsa Ziploc Slider Storage Bags, Quart, 3 Pack, 42 ct para conservarla para una aplicación posterior, y que de esa manera le rindan las 8 semanas (aplicando dos veces por semana) y que no le rindan sólo 4 semanas por usar una distinta en cada aplicación). Entonces, ¿Cómo funciona? Abres un sobre, sacas la toallita húmeda, y con ella humedeces tus axilas. El instructivo recomienda que no frotes ni sobes la toallita al aplicar, sino que meramente la apliques humedeciendo la axila. Yo aplico la toallita contra una parte de mi axila, presiono ligeramente durante tres segundos, y luego aplico la toallita en otra parte de esa axila, presiono durante tres segundos, y así me voy hasta que haya humedecido toda la axila. Luego aplico en la otra axila, y repito dos veces más (tres veces por axila). Finalmente tienes que dejar que el producto se seque, por lo cual tienes que estar unos cinco minutos con los brazos levantados en algún lugar ventilado y seco para evitar que empieces a sudar mientras se seca. Si es la primera vez que utilizarás este producto, quizá sientas un poco de ardor y comezón, pero pronto se quita (vale la pena aguantar esa sensación incómoda). Además, la primera vez que lo comiences a utilizar, si no has usado productos similares, tendrás que repetir durante unos cuantos días seguidos, según el propio instructivo. Otra cosa importante a notar es que dependiendo de qué tan grave sea tu condición de hiperhidrosis, será cuántas veces a la semana te tengas que aplicar el producto. Todos somos distintos, así que a algunas personas les funcionará con una aplicación por semana, y a otras como a mí nos funcionará con dos aplicaciones por semana. Quizá haya personas que ocupen tres aplicaciones por semana. Sin embargo, poder levantar los brazos sin miedo a que la ropa esté manchada de sudor, lo vale. Y cómo lo vale. Cabe aclarar que este producto no anuncia que elimina el sudor al 100%. Obviamente si vas al gimnasio, sudarás, o si estás parado en el sol a 40°. Lo que sí hace es bajar a un nivel muy pero muy controlable la sudoración, para que si lo usas junto con un desodorante, no tengas ningún problema de manchas en la ropa. Te recomiendo que te atrevas a intentarlo y te des cuenta de las maravillas que hace. Yo creo que poder vivir sin miedo a levantar los brazos vale lo que cuesta este producto. Finalmente, aclaro que otro producto que a mí también me ha funcionado es Perspirex Original , el cual es un desodorante. Sin embargo, prefiero utilizar estas toallitas a dicho desodorante, ya que el desodorante me causa un mayor ardor y comezón, mientras que con estas toallitas es raro que llegue a sentir algo.
