Do any LC single mode connectors work with this cable or is something special required?

This cable can work with any single mode fast connectors, LC/SC/ST/FC. Nothing special required. But please pay attention to the fixed connection at the end of the fast connectors.

Can this fiber be used underground in conduit knowing that the conduit might fill with water? Can this fiber be in water foe extended lengths of time?

Not recommended for use in pipelines. This is an overhead optical cable. We have specialized ducted fiber optic cables.

know what you are buying.

great for customer drops from fiber splitters. seems to splice well. not for back haul fiber. Know what you are getting and know how to terminate ends and this cable works well. its what most countries use to put up fiber fast.
