These make all the difference if your doing metalearth models. the bending dies are amazing for making spheres or circles which are the most challenging part of the model in my opinion. Getting that right makes attaching the pieces much more accurate and simple. the tabs tool is amazing for tightening down tabs in hard to reach areas and making 90 degree edges.

A must for building Metal Earth models

The two bending assist tools are perfect. They work great. I don't see how to make a complicated model without these tools. The 5 shaping rods are good at times but the slotted bending assist tools are genius.

The cylinders aren't that helpful, as they are pretty small diameters and I don't use them very often. The conical ends are also too thin. If I'm making a cone that small, round nose pliers are much better. The bending tool is somewhat useful. I get some use out of it, but I use long flatnose or roundnose pliers for long bends...better in my opinion as there is no gap between the metal and the jaws. This tool does have a gap that is a touch thicker then the metal. Actually, the ends of the bending tool are rounded, which makes them helpful for flattening tabs in one shot, if the surface is flat. It's more useful for this purpose than long bends, my opinion. BUT - the tab bending tool is PERFECT. You can use the conical end to get a bend started and then flatten with the other end. You can also get into very tight spaces to twist a tab much much easier than chain nose pliers, which can be too thick in some applications that are tight and narrow. I'd recommend buying this whole set just for the tab bending tool. I use this tool all the time. There are some tasks which no other tool in my arsenal can do, so this is a must-own.

I found bending some of the long but tiny parts on metal models impossible without damage until I started using these. The long flat bar with a slot is great for making 90 degree bends, and the pointed tool with slots is excellent for getting into some of the tighter spots that need bent. Making cylinders or cones is much easier with the small tools.

These tools are a great addition to any metal earth collector’s set. I really like the bend tool as it helps me bend small pieces into the right position. There are two sides on the bend tool, one side is small enough to get in crevices and one larger side is for longer pieces that need to be bent. This is a good quality set!

This set of tools is just what I needed to make assembling the Metal Earth model kits easier and higher quality. The small round bends are better and easier with this set of tools and I love the long bend tool and the tab twister.
