Phytonics ProstAid Phytonics ProstAid is food supplement which assists with the maintenance of normal prostate function, so that the prostate retains its proper size. The prostate is a gland belonging to the male reproductive system. It surrounds the urethra. The prostate enlarges as an animal ages due to the influence of hormones. When the prostate becomes more enlarged it can cause the animal to suffer. Relief becomes difficult and the stool is sometimes flattened. Because the animal has to strain, there is a risk of perineal hernia. Phytonics ProstAid can be used to maintain the normal shape and function of the prostate, and it can also treat prostatic hyperplasia, prostatic hypertrophy, prostatitis and prostate cysts, as well as hyper-sexual behaviour in dogs. Dosage and administration: Administer twice daily, unless veterinarian/therapist advises otherwise: Horse 12 drops Dog 3 - 8 drops Cat 2 - 3 drops 1 ml = 20 drops. Administration Apply this product directly to the mouth using a plastic syringe, or dilute with a little water. This product should be administered separately from meals where possible, as it works more effectively when absorbed by a clean oral mucous. If your pet does not like the product, you can soak the drops into a small treat. Treatment duration In acute situations, the treatment duration is relatively short. This may vary from a few days to 3 weeks. When you notice an improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. During long periods of discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks.
