Great product, great company.
I purchased one of these mounts just about a year ago to hold my kindle. I am HARD on this thing, as I read before bed every night. It comes with me any time we travel, or if I switch to the spare bed for a few nights because my toddler needs me, or whatever. And then, each time I use it I bend it down to position it and then bend it back up and away when I’m done. All this to say, this thing has taken a BEATING. Just the other day, right at the base joint it started to give out a little bit, causing it to kind of sag from where I try to put it. OBVIOUSLY way out of the return window, but it has a sticker on it that says they have a 1yr warranty and to just email them if you need help. I wrote them, they responded within 24hrs and are sending a replacement. Express shipping! They did not bribe or beg or manipulate this review either like some other companies will do. I just genuinely feel people should know when you have good people out there selling stuff. TLDR: this product takes a beating and works amazingly well, and if you abuse it too much the company stands behind their product and will replace it.

Just buy one (or two)
I have been debating on a Kindle for years now. Finally got one and quickly realized, you can't have a Kindle and read in bed without a page turner and a holder. This holder was slightly difficult to adjust BUT it is incredibly sturdy. I do believe this will last although I would not recommend moving it from place to place. Leave it in one spot

4.5 stars for me!
Works great for what I wanted! I will say I was very iffy because it is so hard to uncoil at first. So this probably wouldn't be great for anyone with arthritis or pain in your wrists. It holds the iPad well once you get it adjusted to how you want it. It does sound like it's going to break every time I have to adjust it when I use it. The design is nice and the clasp is nice and sturdy!

Fantastic Best Ever Perfect Holder!
I am an avid crafter and have always struggled to find an efficient, workable way to hold my patterns, especially for counted cross stitch. Most craft stores recommend floor stands, stands that you sit on, little easels, etc, they don’t work! Being elderly, when I sew I want comfort! Therefore, I sew sitting in a very comfy recliner chair. I need my pattern on the left of me, close enough to see. Nothing I have tried will bring the patterns close enough to read, and therefore I’m always leaning waaay over to the left to see the symbols. By the end of the evening, the left side of my waist and ribs just ache from all the contortions and twisting. To be sure, I have tried pattern holders and frames from the craft stores, and floor music stands that are meant to hold sheet music. (They have to sit on the floor, blocked by the chair, so they were too far to see.). I have also tried cutting boxes to fit on the round arm of the recliner where I could place a cross stitch magnetic pattern holder. (It wouldn’t sit level and kept sliding off.) Really, I have tried everything I could think of, but nothing really worked at all. Then I found this wonderful gadget! I know it is meant for phones and tablets, but IT IS PERFECT for me! I have a small table next to my chair to hold supplies, and the clamp fits wonderfully secure and does not slip from it. The clamp is very strong and secure to hold my magnetic pattern board. And the flexible arm? What a blessing! Many reviews comment that it is “stiff.” Yes - that’s what makes it work! I can place it over the arm of the chair, at eye level, exactly where I can read it perfectly without having to lean over, and it does NOT “drift” down! The holder also has a “rotating ball mechanism” which holds the clamp, and that allows it to be rotated any way required to have exactly the “tilt” or slant you may need to see a pattern perfectly. I couldn’t have found anything better! This is it! I know this item is advertised as something to hold your electronics, but it is missing the mark to not branch out and market to crafters. It is the most useful, useable item I have ever seen as a pattern holder. You have made my day, month, year after searching for years to find something that would “work.” This is it! It is perfect in every way! I can’t thank you enough for such an amazing gadget!

It doesn’t hold up my Apple iPad when fully extended
This product seems to be of good quality. It securely holds my iPad and the clamp works really well to secure it to a piece of furniture. However, I’m not super excited about this tablet holder. Even though the flexible long gooseneck arm is quite sturdy, it will not hold up my Apple iPad when fully extended. Maybe it shouldn’t be fully extended and left in a spiral as in the photo? However I needed something the full length of this product for my purposes. I ended up having to McGiver a loop to hang down from an overhead shelf to hold up the arm. I’ll end up replacing it at some point but I’m going to make do for the time being as I already threw out the box.

Works great for my old treadmill!
My treadmill isn't kept in a room with a television so I needed some way to put my iPad near my treadmill. I first tried putting it on the cat tree, but I found that if I wasn't looking straight, I had trouble keeping my balance with any type of speed & incline. I ordered this stand & found it very easy to mount to the side of my treadmill. It works perfectly. Because of its adjustability, there is some movement (the iPad bounces), but it doesn't bother me. The iPad is held snugly in place by the clips that are on tight springs. It's easy to put in and take out. I have a bit of concern about the durability and longevity of the springs, but for now, it seems durable.

Great accessory for reading tablet
Don't listen to the nonsensical 4 star or less reviews. They're all the same, complaining about the neck being too hard to bend. Uuuuum, it's supposed to be or else it wouldn't be able to support your kindle or tablet. I guess common sense aint so common. Anyway, this is an awesome reader accessory. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer BUT that is my own fault because I didn't read the measurements. It's definitely not a deal breaker though. I've only had it for a month so I'm not sure how well it will hold up overtime. But I would imagine as long as you're not grabbing it by the parts that swivel and hold your device, it will last for some time. It feels very sturdy and is easy to use. You definitely get the hang of bending it different ways if you move it room to room. I will probably invest in a second one though!

A must-have for your work-from-home video conferences
As of this writing (late May 2020), much of the nation is still under some sort of lockdown due to the pandemic. As a result, a lot of us are working from home as well as connecting with loved ones by video. I have a fatal flaw: vanity. Yes, it’s one of the Seven Deadlies. No, I’m not proud of it. I guess we could blame it on the self-absorbed, narcissistic tendencies which already exist deep within everyone’s psyches—which, under normal circumstances are easily controlled with self-discipline and humility but flourish when we are fed so regularly and efficiently by social media. (I’m lookin at you, Insta.) Why bring vanity into the discussion about video calls? Have you SEEN what you look like when your rear-racing camera is on the desk or table below your eye level?? I DO NOT HAVE ALL THOSE CHINS. I found myself spending fifteen minutes before each call stacking books and rigging up strange set-ups with clothes pins to try to get either my iPhone or my tablet at eye level so that I would not look like Jabba the Hutt on my video calls. This became pretty tiresome, especially when my comically magnificent structures would collapse in the middle of a call, forcing everyone else on the call to see areas of my living space unfit for public display. I needed a quicker, more versatile, less Rube Goldberg-ish solution. Enter the gooseneck tablet/phone holder. After doing some comparing, reading reviews, and price-shopping, I finally decided on this particular one because it had the features I wanted: the length was good, it would hold my iPhone or my iPad, and the price was right. It took a while to ship, despite it being Prime eligible—but that was no fault of the seller as Amazon was, at the time, prioritizing shipments of greater need/importance due to the pandemic. This thing has changed my video conference game tremendously. I had doubts as to how effectively it would hold my iPad, but it’s plenty strong enough for that. It’s very adjustable... but since the gooseneck is so very sturdy (you want it to be, because otherwise you’ll look like you’re constantly in mid-earthquake to your viewers), it takes some muscle to bend it to where you want it to be. Despite that sturdiness, one disappointing aspect of the arm is that the mounting clip and the collar for tightening it down are plastic. I could see someone easily overtightening it and breaking it, rendering it completely useless. As long as you’re careful with it, it’ll be fine, but I felt that information was worth knowing if you’re considering buying. Top tip: if you ultimately decide to purchase this product, READ THE DIRECTIONS. I know none of us want to read directions for something that seems very simple and self-explanatory, but you could save yourself potential frustration by taking a few seconds to do it. It won’t kill you, so go on and do that. One of the things you will figure out very quickly is that you should affix your device into the spring-loaded holder BEFORE snapping it onto the ball joint at the end of the arm. Much, much easier. Overall, I can recommend the product. Good value for the money, does the job, spares me the ridiculous engineering, and enables me to take video calls without my viewers looking up my nose—can’t ask for more than that.
