Isopod and Millipede Substrate (4 Quart (Gallon))

Isopods love it

I've used it for a few months now for my bumblebee millipedes with no problems.just get acouple bags when it cheap.

Well after years of only buying substrate from bugsincyberspace, I was put into a bit of a bind when it came time to top off my tank once more and their shop just happened to be out of substrate. I tried waiting but after a month I felt the need to keep my tank maintained so I looked for the next highly recommended place to buy from. I've had my two female african giant milipedes for going on 4 years now they were my pride of my hobby and within a week of adding this to their tank they both passed away shortly after. As well as my colony of 5 bumblebee pedes two weeks later. I can't say for certain that it was this that caused their deaths. However as it was the only new addition to their tanks, I can't help but believe it's one possible factor. I just want to leave this review incase someone else goes to switch off their usual provider.

It definitely is a great substrate for my millipedes, but not worth the price of $25. Definitely my fault for thinking it was any bigger than what it actually was. I could've bought the substrate, twice the size, for more than half the price.
