Summerdown Chocolate Mint Crisps 200g

I have been buying various products from Summerdown for a few years now, and the quality never slips. Of course there are many good mint chocolates on the market, but if you want to try a new range for a treat then this British grown mint range are well worth a taste. I'd give the mints themselves 5 stars - high quality and delicious. However I've docked stars for buying online as a gamble when you cannot see best-before dates. I bought a two-pack in mid December 2017 as a Christmas gift and they ended up having a best-before date of Feb 2018. I've no idea what their total shelf life is but Amazon selling double packs with only two months left seems a bit short - makes me think they have been sitting in a warehouse for a while. I'm sure you could enjoy them months later but I think they do dry out and become more brittle the longer they sit.

I bought these as a gift as they are really mouth-watering and very moreish. Delivery of the items was excellent, arriving before the estimated date. Price was also good and I would recommend these mint dark chocolate crisps.

Friends brought it over to our place and it has been our chocolate staple at home ever since! Hands down the most delicious chocolate peppermint we’ve ever had! Loving the crunchy mint bits.

Excellent quality and great value for money. Highly recommended. These chocolates are very rare to find and cost a fortune at Selfridges. I will definitely be back for more.
