Claims are true
What I noticed was that it not formulated to straighten the hair. Mine did not have any loud smell to it , nor did it smell strong or burn . maybe tingly little here and there . Shampoo and conditionet has such a soothing effect . Overall , it softens and elongates your curls making it easier to comb and brush . After each washing it will curl back up ...no matter . all you have to do is keep hydrated ! this my experience

This texturizer caused me a huge BALD SPOT!!
DON'T DO IT YALL JUST STAY ALL NATURAL!! My hair is like a 4c I guess I'll never really understand the whole hair texture thing. My hair has been all natural now for years now! I do use texturizers about once to twice a year. Otherwise it's no need because I keep my hair braided about 75 percent of the time. I ordered this to just help soften and detangle my hair after taking out my braids that were in for about 3 months (my usual time keeping braids in) so that I could manage it for a style. The same day I used the jazzing racy wine for added color and to cover my grays like I always do. Well I braided it up then put my on my U part wing . Now the wig does have small combs on the sides, top & back and my edges are very very weak anyways but I think that the texturizer caused me to get an ugly bald spot! NEVER AGAIN!!

Very good. Easy to apply, no offensive odor, didn't irritate my scalp. Best of all it enhanced my natural hair texture soft and curly. The best hair product I've used in years. I rate it a definite five.
