Just have a plastic cup on standby pee into it, dip the stick for 1-2 seconds and then use toilet tissue along the edge to remove excess. Watch the clock and start measuring after 60 seconds. It will give loads of useful info you can work out if you're dehydrated based on the specific gravity and also the pH is an overall health indicator. I repeated the test like 3 times and in the end i asked my husband to do it too, relaxed when it looked the same.
