Good for the money, but not a pro kit. Very happy
It works and works well, but not on all faults. I had a defective patch panel and the wire measuring feature regularly shows the wire is 3.2M (on the faulty patch panel). Except with a different panel (that works) it shows the length being 50M. This caused me quite a bit of wasted time. Having said that, now that I know the weakness, I find this to be an excellent tool. If you need to install networks day in, day out, then you need a pro tool. If you just do a few jobs, this is a bargain.

Great price for a network tester
Great price for a network cable tester. Remains to be seem how long it'll last but at this price, you could buy a few and still save a lot of cash vs a known brand.

Good piece of kit
Good diagnostic tool, particularly like the distance feature which can calculate how far away the break in the cable is , accuracy is reasonable but can vary.

False read
I purchased this item and initially worked well. But then it kept giving false reading. Amazon got me a refund and I ordered another one.... This unit became faulty displaying same issue as the previous one. Not a good product in my opinion.

Okay Network tester
For it its price it performs well. Tracer and 8 remotes makes some things easy. Length estimates not bad and you can calibrate for cable being used against know length fir mire accurate result. Doesn't have distance to short also when one of the pair is broken length is for the pair sows a reduction but if both from the pair are broken get more accurate distance to break point. Got on prine day fir a great price eint be sending it back, but looking for distance to short function.

works great
I've not used this sort of toner before, it only makes a noise if it picks up charge, rather than noise all the time that changes when it picks up something like a metal detector. It works great though, helped us lots in large networking jobs, seems like a sturdy tool, and coming with earphones is a nice bonus.

The supplied RJ45 cable is defective. Everything else is amazing!
