Pentair Pentek EPM-10 Carbon Water Filter, 10-Inch, Under Sink Modified Epsilon Carbon Block Replacement Cartridge with Bonded Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) Filter, 10" x 2.5", 10 Micron

I have tried a dozen filters and the Pentair was the only filter to take out all taste and smell without reducing the flow rate. The sediment it collects is also very efficient and has eliminated discoloring of toilets and sinks. Would recommend for anyone who has a well and has odor, color or taste issues.

Exactly as expected.

This is a good filter, it removes chlorine taste. It also will remove sediment but that will reduce the life of the filter. If you have issues with sediment it pays to add a sediment filter before this filter. Sediment filters cartridges cost much less and extends the life of a carbon block filter. The same housing used for the carbon block will work.

Good balance between filter life and performance. For those who have a high iron content in your water, you probably have this issue. This filter will last twice as long as a 1-5 micron unit (one month on average) while capturing the lions share of the various ferrous sediments. If your filters are clogging much more frequently, say a weekly change, consider a Birm Media addition to your system.

1)not too expensive 2) I have deep, heavily iron contaminated well water and salt/resin water system; I like the carbon filter concept 3) whole house filter is before water conditioner 4) since using this the particulate buildup in faucets, water heater, pipes, ... is now "nil"! 5) but at 10 microns with the carbon, water pressure drop is your clue to change it every 10-20 days depending upon use; don't expect a full month unless you go up to 20 microns

The product works as described. However, I had problems with the shipping/packing. I order 2 cartridges and they were loosely packed in a plastic bag. During shipment they knocked around and the rim of one cartridge broke off. Because the cartridge fits snugly in the filter canister I was able to use the broken cartridge.

This filters all incoming water to our motorhome and it works great. Easy to install, it is keeping out the sand & debris that you often find at RV parks.

Consigliati da un’amico li ho voluti provare e devo dire che la qualità si percepisce da subito. A differenza di quelli più economici non rilasciano particelle di carbone all’uscita. Valuterò nel corso dei mesi…

Yo uso un filtro ceramico para tomar agua directo de la llave y no tener que comprar garrafones, pero desde hace poco tiempo el agua llega muy sedimentada y con sabor a cloro. Compre este filtro por el cloro pero con tanto sedimento se tapa rapido. El sabor del agua es diferente, supongo por el carbon activado, no muy de mi agrado pero el filtro hace su trabajo. Solo me duro 1 mes ya que el agua llega super sedimentada.

J'utilise ce filtre pour filtrer l'eau des campings qui ne goûte pas toujours très bon et à la maison pour améliorer la qualité de l'eau fourni par la municipalité et qui a des arrières goûts de chlore.
