Yes, it didn't work for me and I had to return it. Mine was a Canon 60D.

is it possible to attach selfie stick to the grip ?

The grip floats over the weight. If you add a selfie stick its gonna hit the weight I think.

Would this be good for vlogging?

At first i would say no, but will depend on how still you can be. On playback, shakes was reduced by 50 percent and slightly noticeable.
