The small tool worked very well in a tight place to get the clamp tight. They seem to be good quality stainless steel.I used it on a front inner CV boot on a 2007 Subaru Impreza. The factory clamp snapped when I tried to put it back on. That is why I purchased these. The small clamps were a little too short, but the long ones were about 6 inches long. It was no problem and I just cut off the excess. The width was perfect to fit in the groove on the boot.
