**Q: Is this R -linalool or S-linalool?**
A: There is one stereocenter (not two) therefore R- and S- linalool are enantiomers, and the product, at this price point, is certainly the racemic mixture.  Pure enantiomers would be much more expensive.  The product is surely synthesized chemically.  The actual purity, which the seller has not addressed is an important question.

**Q: May this be used as air freshener? Thanks.**
A: Yes, it is volatile as it is highly concentrated and will irritate the skin with contact, however, I am actually adding a small amount of this to an aroma therapy solution.

**Q: Will this product test positive for solvents?**
A: It is not manufactured by solvent extraction.  However, some analytic equipment is sensitive in the parts-per-billion or parts-per-trillion ranges.  These tests may detect solvent compounds.

**Q: How is the purity percentage of this product?**
A: You would need a lab test to know for sure.  About 98% or higher, probably.
