There are so many different tap cartridges being used by tap manufacturers that it really is important to take out your existing cartridge and make careful measurements to get the correct replacements - size really does matter. Replacing your worn out cartridges yourself is one of those DIY jobs that can be done and there are a number of YouTube videos that will give plenty of advice if you have never done it before - plus it is so much cheaper than calling out a plumber for what is mostly a 30 minute job given a good pair of grips and a screwdriver.
