All I need for my Botany lesson
Checked this out with a few other books from the library while doing a unit study on gardening with my kids I homeschool and ended up buying this book. It is a great resource. Not overfilled with facts just the perfect amount for young elementary age kids. Holds their attention and teaches them the basics

Perfect to learn seed life cycle
A perfect child’s adaption of how a seed grows into a plant with correct care. I gave this book , along with a colorful children’s garden tool set and a pack of seeds to my eager grandchild.

Illustration and text great and age appropriate. Super for young gardeners. Younger children will enjoy pictures as a parent reads to them — a book kids can grow with. More than I thought it was going to be!!! I will buy more from this author

Great non fiction text!!
The illustrations in this book are very helpful l, especially for ESL students. I also liked the age appropriate vocabulary which promotes comprehension.

For all ages!
This is a well written and illustrated book that details the life cycle process of a plant growing from seed to plant, hence the title. The pictures are large and colorful, and the sentences are short and concise-written so a young child can understand. I have used this book with pre-K and kindergarten students, and even 4th graders love it! Now my 14 month old loves to look at it. I would recommend!

Good for science project on 'New Life'. Used it in conjunction with sunflower and bean seeds, helped children with knowledge and understanding.

This is a great book! I enjoyed it myself. A good kids book is one that a adult enjoys as well! My son and the kids that come to my home daycare are really enjoying learning about gardening.
