Came with some calibrating oil which smelled up the whole house. Checked my maple syrup after I calibrated it and it was 67 brix (cold syrup) don’t test boiling hot syrup. I like it and I am happy with it. Just not thrilled about the calibration oil smell. Review: Waste of money!!! - There is a reason why it is 1/3 rd of the price from bee store. Can't calibrate it with liquid provided, measurments all over the place. Not accurate at all. Haven't used it for 30 days since bought it, now can't return because 30 days return policy.
