Great shelf. Hints for installing.
Very pleased with this solid, strong shelf. Takes time to install, but worth it when finished. Very important to drill the pilot holes in accurate spot and not tilted as these factors can cause installing the bolts to be very difficult! Suggest making a template out of cardboard to exactly locate the pilot holes, as the shelf brackets are not easy to keep in place when marking for drilling holes. Would be helpful if the manufacturer provided a template to make the installation easier and quicker. Some reviewers had trouble mounting the shelf onto the brackets as the installation bolts block the slot closest to the wall. This was a problem for me too when trying to install by putting the shelf into the slot at the end of the bracket first, then trying to fit it into the other two slots. I couldn’t get it to work! My solution was to install using the slot closest to the wall first. I had to put the end of the shelf into the slot closest to the wall on one bracket, then slide the shelf to the other end to get it into the closest slot on both brackets. Tilting the shelf at an angle helped. Next, I flexed the end of one bracket and the shelf slid into the bracket slot slot furthest from the wall. (Ok to adjust the shelf position a few inches to allow space to flex bracket so it fits I nto the slot). Did the same for the other bracket, then adjusted the shelf position slightly to finish. Highly recommend!

Solid if mounted properly.
Great sturdy 24”x 48” wire shelving. The brackets are 7.5” tall at the back so be sure the fit works for your situation. I would not recommend for hollow wall board installation with heavy items stored.

A great alternative to ceiling mounted racks
Our new house has this strange alcove where our water heater sits (see image). I purchased two of the 4' x 8' ceiling mounted racks that I plan to install, but decided to make use of this weird alcove and these shelves. The alcove is 24" x 70" and our ceiling is 12' high. So much potential storage space. My wife loves how easy it is to grab items off the shelf from the stair landing. Easy reach and easy to stack items (COSTCO TP case). I did decide to buy some grade 5 lag screws as I had read that others had problems with the provided screws snapping off the heads. I used the washers that came provided and installed with a 13mm socket mounted on my cordless drill/driver. Pre-drilled the holes first and mounted into the stud wall. The rack becomes more stable after securing the wall side of the rack to a stud wall with the C-bracket and screws. I highly recommend these shelves. Good directions. 2/5 installation difficulty level. Needed tools: level, drill with bits, pencil to mark hole locations, socket or wrench, tape measure.

Very sturdy shelving
I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I got these, but they turned out to be great shelves. The lag bolts were larger than expected and the brackets and shelves are high quality. The brackets have a short footprint so they aren't very far below the shelves. I was able to stack tools and hardware on them with no problem and eliminate multiple floor shelving units. One not is that they have a slight angle toward the wall (a nice feature to keep things on the shelf) so if you need to have a particular ceiling clearance make sure to measure that from the front of the shelf. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality and value of these.

Minus one star for lack of mentioning that step in instructions.
This is an item that I absolutely needed in my garage. I tried looking for shelving locally, but neither Lowes or Home Depot carried anything that seemed worth it. I checked out a couple of items on Amazon, and this one was included. I added it to my wish list and looked at it a few times because it had very good ratings, and would be a perfect fit in my one-car garage. The other item was too long. I've listed a few of the pros and cons regarding these shelves below: Pros: 1). Super sturdy. I weigh about 195 pounds and used one of them to do a borderline dip, and it didn't budge! The screws are all thick and sturdy as well! But you MUST use studs, or other comparable stabilizing force. 2). Super-quick (as in two-day) shipment. POW!!! LOL!!! XD 3). Nice color 4). Everything was included; nothing missing and no need to contact customer service Cons: 1). Set up was not as easy as expected (see explanation below) 2). Too expensive 3). May also need a ratchet set; impact drill wasn't enough for the larger screws **Honorable Mention** It smelled like laundry detergent and had a white, powdery substance on/in the box? I don't get that one, but I digress... the items were wrapped tightly, and nothing was scuffed, damaged. (= So, my overall rating is four stars because of the 'difficulty' in setting the shelves up. Everything was in place, the brackets were set up, I only had to install the shelves. That was the most difficult part because they didn't fit easily. I had to turn around and remove the top-most screw on the left (for each bracket) to make room for the shelves to slide in as depicted in the directions. There was absolutely no way in the world those shelves would've fit with that screw in the way. NONE!! If I wasn't so tired and dehydrated, I would've returned the shelves for a daggone refund! I was disappointed that the directions made no mention of that part, and I hope no one else has to go through the same thing I did. What should've took a few minutes to complete took much, muuuuuuuuuch longer. If everything was perfect, then 5 stars would've been chosen. Unfortunately, the setup was not as easy as expected. Minus one star for lack of mentioning that step in instructions. I read the other reviews, and no one else mentioned it... maybe it's just me, but I'm a DIY guy that's not been worn out by many projects... luckily, I tried it out, and it worked out just fine. Screw back in place, shelves slid left to right, but that was halted after installing the smaller two-screw bracket. Overall, they're a very nice set of shelves. Looking forward to making use of them; I just set them up tonight. I did not include an image because they're exactly as depicted on Amazon. Hope this helps! (=

Strong and simple
Got these for garage storage over comparable option from costco. Good price for what you get. Easy install with a level, a drill, and an impact driver. Each one holds about 2.5 of the home depot 27 gallon bins. Wife is nervous about my choice to hang one over the garage entry door, but I'm pretty sure I could do a pullup from this shelf. I trust it. Accessory hooks are a nice added bonus that are holding my fishing poles up out of the way.

Strong and well made.
These shelves come in three foot or four foot lengths. I installed two rows of three foot lengths in my garage to form two nine foot shelves, one above the other by about 18 inches, for storage of mostly boxed supplies and gardening tools. I also made a working platform at a nearby corner with two four foot sections at 90 degrees to make a counter, but that of course needs some cardboard covering to keep the small stuff from falling through. You’ll need a long level to insure straight rows and some zip ties to make sure the abutting pieces are held together well and uniformly. They’re heavy and very, very strong (as advertised). You may need shims and an appropriate masonry drill if you have cement block walls, like mine, and which aren’t perfectly flat. I use the hooks for holding tools, garden hose, and the like. It’s a well made product. I picked it because of the 18 inch depth; 12 inches is too narrow for the job, and 24 inches is too deep for my garage.

Strong but not bulky
I purchased these in the hope that they would be strong enough to store a lot of stuff, yet not look ugly in our finished and painted garage. Fortunately they didn't disappoint. Not only are they strong and attractive, but they were easy to install. But since they are capable of holding 250lbs, be sure to attach them to studs or another sturdy support like cinder blocks. Highly recommended!
