RFID Handbook: Technology, Applications, Security and Privacy [Colbach, Gordon] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. RFID Handbook: Technology, Applications, Security and Privacy Review: This book is a good starter pack for RFID - This book is a good starter pack for RFID - it covers the entire technology stack and the business application of RFID pretty extensively. The only thing it wasn't that great for me was in a deeper dive into the electronics and signal processing components of RFID. Good material to jump off into RFID though. Review: feels like a student trying to meet a page count on a last minute assignment - Despite being 150 pages, most of these pages past the first 20 reiterate the same information without any further depth. Many pages also are scarce of text themselves, containing only a picture or 2 paragraphs (as seen in the image). I have trouble understanding why this is a book and not a magazine article. Regardless it is certainly not a "handbook", it will not give you resources for how to develop your own RFID device, or what equipment you'd need to write to an RFID, or how to use an RFID chip

Great introduction to RFID
Great introduction for someone with ZERO knowledge on the topic. I should say that the examples given on real life applications were not clear enough for me to understand (author can think of adding more pictures) Anyway, I would still recommend this book as a quick introduction to RFID

Good Starter Kit on RFID
Good starter kit on rfid - covers use cases extensively and the pictures are very handy in visualising how it all comes together.

Google is better.
Total ripoff. All fluff, no meaningful content.

Great for a solid foundation of knowledge
It was a solid, well written book on RFID fundamentals and the science behind it. Once read, it will give you a solid basic understanding to move forward without needing and engineering degree.

Great overview
Good overview for those who might be interested in what RFID is and how it's used. Given how ubiquitous RFID is, everyone should know more about it.
