It was linked to in a reddit thread about mounting plates for Mk7 VW Golfs and I decided to try this. I was told zip ties would work fine with this mount and I went ahead with it since I didn’t want to drill any holes into my front bumper. It’s great! Easy to install. Zip tied to the front grill and screwed in perfectly. An easy solution for those who can’t/don’t want to drill.
