great quality! reminds me of watercolour, lasts a long time and nice and smooth on paper, works with calligraphy pens and paintbrushes and creates really nice, consistent colour.

My favourite brand of inks in terms of quality and colour range

I’m really pleased with this set of drawing inks. The colour quality is excellent—bright, well-pigmented, and smooth to work with. A great variety of colours and very good value. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend them.

This ink is beautiful, the pigment is solid and it easily mixes with water. The drippy thing (i have forgotten the name) Is really useful so you don't get too much ink out. It may have been me or this bottle, but i found the lid quite hard to fit back on after it had been removed, so unfortunately due to this issue, when i was transporting the bottle, the whole thing leaked and i was left with no ink and a really messy bag! But this showed another positive, it washes out of fabrics really easy so don't worry too much if you do what i did and get it all over your things!

Really pleased with this Indian ink. I'd been looking for a good drawing ink suitable for comic book style drawings for a while and I've read reviews on lot of different brands. Strangely I saw no reviews or recommendations for Winsor and newton, which puzzled me because winsor & newton is a well recognised brand in art supplies. So when I ordered this it felt like a bit of a gamble. I need not have worried; the quality of this ink is amazing. The ink lays down really nicely and provides a nice deep black. This is important because a lot of the reviews often criticised other brands for dull and weak blacks. Also, I found the Winsor & newton ink retains its boldness on the page after time, which is extremely good, as I've heard some brands can fade a lot after time. I perhaps should have bought a smaller bottle of this to test first but I ended up gambling on this large bottle because it was such a great price. The gamble paid off. Really really nice product. 5 stars.

These are the best ever inks

Even as an Art Student, the quality of the materials I use is important to me. As I am focussing on developing my ink drawing skills, I chose to buy a set of the William drawing inks for myself. With this set you get a well presented set of eight inks giving you the basic colours you need for pretty much anything. The inks come in individual boxes within the set, which is useful if you need them to stack/store neatly or be easily identifiable. Inside the box is an aesthetically pleasing wide-based bottle, which helps to prevent disastrous knocks and spills. I used these inks on a landscape I did as a gift; when first applied to the page they blended well with water and colour I'd already laid down, and after being allowed to dry, it was smudge and waterfast, so I was able to have areas of greater intensity without worrying it would bleed. I used them both with a dip pen and a fine paintbrush and the ink was easily worked with both. The inks are well worth what I paid for them; considering the pigment and quality they are good value for money.

I was recommended to buy these by the Art teacher on a recent art course I attended. I have never used drawing inks before and I have to say that this was so easy compared to paints. A little goes a long way and the final results very easy and effective too. Initially it is a bit expensive to outlay buying these but I have used such a tiny amount that they are going to last me ages. I am using them for watercolour drawing as well as writing with a chinese bamboo brush and attempting to draw and write calligraphy style scripts. I think the uses are endless for this ink and especially if you use a small amount in a water brush it will go further too. There is a great selection of colours in this set.

Je recherchais un produit couvant et brillant pour mes colos et ce produit est vraiment top . Le noir est magnifique, le blanc est super couvrant et le bronze et l'argent aussi . En plus même sur du papier fin ca ne traverse pas . En plus avoir les 4 en même temps c'est encore mieux .👍

Il nero è bello compatto, uniforme. Alcune chine risultano grigie, invece che nere. O si schiariscono mentre vengono distese col pennello (il segno inizia nero e poi diventa grigio). Invece con questo inchiostro non si ha questo problema e nel fumetto/ illustrazione soprattutto torna molto utile :) Sull'impermeabilità non so che dire... mai verificata, se ho capito cosa si intende. In ogni caso non ho mai versato acqua sul mio disegno...

Estás tintas son muy concentradas, al principio pensé que todas eran así. Compré otras de origen chino y me percate que estás en particular están muy densas, la prove con una pluma de cristal y he tenido ue limpiarla muchas veces, así que necesita diluirse. El color es muy bonito y brillante, la ventaja es que no se decolora con el tiempo, pero si es la primera vez que trabajas con tintas, te recomiendo comprar una más barata
