Discover a collection of author Brianna Wiest's most beloved writings, exploring ideas that will challenge your perspectives and inspire personal growth. Review: Must read - I love this book, it provides opportunities for self reflection and insight as well as considering taking accountability and responsibility. Review: Wonderful present - I've bought 3 of these books so far. 1 for me and 2 for my friends birthdays. I'm still yet to finish the book - even though I bought it ages ago. I think the book is best in paperback rather than Kindle version, makes easier reading to flip and add notes and be a visible reminder to read. Each chapter is a little essay of thoughts and ideas and I think they're all wonderful and thought provoking. I just finished chapter 36 - why you should thank the people who have hurt you most in life. And it was eye-opening. I think a lot of go through life feeling stuck and not sure where we're headed, but this book has shown me how much I have changed and accomplished and how proud of myself I should be. I like to give this book as a present because it's such a wonderful book to just flip through and read occasionally. You don't need to read it all in one go, you don't have to read every chapter. Some will speak more to you than others - depending on what I'm struggling with I like that I can find a chapter that will help settle my mind and allow me to recenter. Highly recommend

Good book - controversial opinions
The book is quite good. It contains a lot of useful advices however it contains some of controversial opinions that might not applicable for a good life. I like the book and regardless of my opinion about it, I believe it contains some contradictions.

Good quality book but the font is difficult to read
Well-written book which contain a range of short and long essays which cover a range of issues including relationships, habits, productivity, emotional intelligence, love and healing. A good book to reach for as you can read a couple of essays each day - no commitment. There are some ideas I don't agree with but it keeps you consciously thinking, pondering about life and questioning your current mindset. Only downside is the font which is difficult to read and quite thin. I'm a fast reader but the font choice does slow me down. If you have difficulty with your sight perhaps the kindle version maybe better as you can zoom in.

OK
This book is ok, but I am finding it very repetitive in nature. I’ve only read 25 essays at random so far but I feel like I have read both the same advice multiple times, and (oddly) conflicting advice. The essays are not ground breaking or novel, much is inspired from various great thinkers over the ages. Whilst I don’t have an issue with this necessarily, it just feels very much like any other motivational/self help books and resources out there. I bought this thinking I would buy a copy for my Mum. However, now I don’t think I’ll bother. This would perhaps be a good “starter” book for somebody new to this genre. But I can’t say I agree that it will “change the way you think”. Side note- the book itself arrived with turned up pages on the front cover and is poor quality.

Design is amazing, font is readable, and it's just perfect reading for short pauses because the essays aren't too long. The only thing missing for me is a hard cover, everything else is great.

“101 essays that will change the way you think” è una raccolta di scritti di Brianna Wiest, che all’epoca della pubblicazione aveva circa ventisei anni.
