I did not need the huge vice, but this one is exactly what I wanted for my work shop. I almost bought the bigger one, but this is just fine and works on my bench. Wilton is one of the finest vices made, and they are still made here. They do have a cheap foreign made model, but the forged steel US made is the best. The jaws are accurately aligned and meet correctly. The handle is just right and well made, which operates the screw which has no slop.
