**Q: will this work for a 3 inch drain pipe**
A: It could depending on how you configure the connection and how tight you want the fit to be.  A 3" pipe would fit INSIDE the connector with lots of room to spare, so if you are "on a downhill run" it might be just fine.  Otherwise water, water everywhere.

**Q: My gutter downspout (where the water flows out to) measures 2" x 3" in size. Should I get the 2x3 adapter or the 3x4 adapter featured here to fit it?**

It’s ab fairly thin material. It’s ok to work with due flexibility, but I worry about longevity. It is a little large for my downspout , but a couple of screws made it stable.
