​I am a long-time user of the original heavy Weleda Skin Food, but sometimes it's just too rich for daytime use or warmer weather. When the "Light" version came out, I was skeptical—could it possibly deliver the same level of intense hydration without the thick, dense feeling? The answer is a resounding yes! ​Texture & Feel: This cream is a dream. It has a beautiful, whipped texture that is noticeably lighter than the original. It absorbs quickly, leaving absolutely no greasy residue, which makes it perfect for use under makeup. It provides immediate relief to dry patches without making my skin feel suffocated. ​Hydration & Results: It contains the same beloved blend of natural ingredients (including sunflower oil, lanolin, and extracts of pansy, rosemary, and calendula), and my skin looks and feels deeply nourished after applying it. It combats dryness, reduces flaky patches, and leaves a healthy, radiant glow. It’s light enough for morning use but powerful enough to heal my skin overnight. ​Recommendation: If you love the intense results of the classic Skin Food but need something that sinks in faster, works well in humid climates, or serves as a lighter, daily facial moisturizer, the Skin Food Light is the perfect substitute. It’s an essential staple in my routine now!

Love this cream, it’s a quality product that leaves the skin feeling very moisturised. The light version soaks in easily and is perfect for both day under makeup or at night. Product is packed with organic natural ingredients plus it smells great! Doesn’t include spf so need to add spf for daytime use.

Feels so lovely on the skin, normally alot of moisturisors cause blemish breakouts but this one is great! The smell is very soothing and fresh! Recommend as a smooth base under makeup

Haven't been using long enough for an in-depth review but here are my initial thoughts.. Pros: • Melts into the skin faster than the original Skin Food which I really appreciate in my AM routine. lol I don't have time for those "let your skincare absorb" shenanigans in the morning! • Noticed a significant improvement in my dry patches • Sits beautifully under makeup and doesn't have me reaching for the blotting paper any faster than I normally have to.. on the contrary I went to do my usual blotting paper/setting powder touch-up on my lunch break and found that I actually only needed some lippy Cons: • Not overly keen on the smell but it's not overpowering & fades away quickly. I find it hard to review skincare because what works for me may not work for you, if it helps at all, I have combination skin.. oily T-zone with dry cheeks & perimeter. What I will say though is that for the price yih can't go wrong because if it's no good for you as a facial moisturiser then you could always use it as a body moisturiser or a hand cream. :)

This was recommended by a beauty therapist and I use the lighter version in the day and the thicker one at night. Doesn't give me breakouts or spots and moisturisers fabulously.

Excellent moisturiser. Thick and creamy, not greasy, smells gorgeous and keeps your skin moist and supple for hours. All natural ingredients too.

Wonderful hand cream. Smells divine and leaves your hands feeling so good. A little goes a long way.
