Locked with an elite key - won't work if you need secure reads

Per HID support, this reader is locked with an elite key which you cannot change so it will not read secure credentials. I would NOT order this product if you need to add your own key using an HID config card.

Bad product because there is no support whatsoever from supplier. The HID material is totally useless for any practical purposes.
