It is the first CrossFit rope I have ever had, but I can still easily say it is great quality. It is durable and gets the job done. So for those wanting to hear about the quality of a rope product, look no further.For those reading through reviews to find out how they work in terms of fat loss, then let me put it this way:The prior two weeks before getting this rope, I was losing, on average, about 1 lb or less. As soon as I got this, I used it 2-3 times in a week and lost 2.8 lbs (I had already been exercising also so I added this to my regime). I almost tripled my weight loss! (I used the 2in thick x 50ft long) And, get this, I only used them for 15 minutes. Why? Well, because I was so completely wiped after those 15 minutes! I would use them for as long as possible until my muscles screamed, then took a break for 1 minute, then repeated the set again with a 1 minute break. After 15 minutes I was spent. That is the wonderful thing about these ropes. You experience a high intensity cardio workout (and strength building as well) in such a small amount of time. I would believe if anyone used these 3 times a week for only 15 minutes, they would experience incredible strength gains and weight loss. Its also great for mixing up your routine. Instead of just lifting or running you can throw this in for a workout. I went with the 2" rope for the additional weight and it didn't disappoint. I use this rope strictly outside and there are no signs of wear yet. Its been used in the rain and mud and it stands up to the elements. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quick total body workout!! *by J***R on April 27, 2014* Did not believe the hype about "battling ropes" and decided to try it myself. You can really get a total workout in 10 minutes, and it revs you up like no other workout I've ever seen. I've added them to my usual workout, and after ten minutes, your muscles may be fatigued, but your body is so revved up that you feel like you have boundless energy. They are not as easy to use as the videos make it seem, you have to remember that the videos on YouTube are showing world class athletes doing it.
