Would a key fob fit in this? Thanks!

No, but you can take the key out of the fob and carry just the key in the case. That's what we do when we go to the pool. I leave the fob in the car and just put the key in the case. You can still lock your entire car and then open your car with the key when you return.

Can u fit a US passport inside an close it to dive!??

not a passport but multiple credit cards, registration, ins card.....

How easily does the case open -- especially for frequent use of cards held within the case?

Opens easily. I used it for a week without any problem while snorkeling the FL Keys. As an unexpected bonus, you can put your credit card on one side and hotel room key on the other side and simply touch the side of the case to a credit card reader to make a purchase, or to an electronic hotel door lock for entry.

Does it fit to put a go pro 4 ! battery/akku inside?

Not sure the size of the battery but it fits about 8 credit cards. I had my and my husband's license and 4 room keys with a little room left over.
