Once the bottle falls over, it leaks so do not use pure acetone or any nail polish remover unless your very careful not to tip it over. I tested it with water first and noticed it leaked from the cap rim but gave it a shot anyway. Since the bottle leaks easily, you know your acetone etc is slowly evaporating. The bottle should have been leak proof at the cap twisting part. The bottle is expensive in my opinion. You can splurge on a 6oz bottle of Beaty Secrets Nail Polish Remover pumps at sally beauty for $4.99 and once the remover is gone you can refill it with your favorite nail polish remover. The bottle is leak proof, the cap is plastic, the bottle has a lock on it so if you tip it, you don't have to worry about spillage when it is locked. The pump action is easy, no pressure needed like the Zoya pump bottle. I should have sent it back when I had a chance. I love that I can pump a bit into the top and use it to dip and clean my brush.
