## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you run long distances on these, or are these not designed for that?**
A: I've had a pair before and trust me, you will most-likely pass out because of exhaustion sooner then these powerisers. They are awesome, and you can run long distance but its really not meant for running. I say this because ones foot is always "flat" there is no ankle movement, like in real running or sprinting. But they are still fun. Check out YouTube.

**Q: I weight 180 can I use stilts that hold 200-242lbs?**
A: I think it will hold up to 250 lb .

**Q: If you weight is 220 lbs. Can one still use these Powerisers?**
A: A 220 lb person will over bend the power is es a bit, forcing the person to lift his(her) knee higher. It will be quite a workout. I wouldn't recommend running, because the probability of tripping over nothing is higher (I broke my rib running on smaller gauged skyrunners). And jumping COULD snap the powerisers

**Q: Do these stilts have Velcro straps, or snowboard-like bindings?**
A: All Powerisers have industrial strength Velcro, as the manufacturer has produced them that way for 6 1/2 years, due to safety issues with the ski binding.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Exercise
*by Q***H on June 2, 2013*

Pros: Great exercise, comfortable, fun as ever, well built/durable. I've had them for about 1½ months and am using them at least every weekend and no signs of breaking down yet.Cons: Dangerous(duh). some of the machining of the metal parts aren't really sanded down properly, just fixed it myself, but I cut myself 2 times on the little brace things that you have to screw on because of the sharp edges while trying to do a little leg-grab trick. I wasn't bleeding profusely or anything, but it was a bit of a bother.Other: I weigh on the higher end of the weight-tolerance of this model so I was able to bend the springs to the max. If I had been on the lower end, I wouldn't know if I would be able to bend the springs as much, or if I would be able to get as much air; pretty sure it depends on how well you can jump normally and deal with the impact of landing. I dunno, just my 2¢.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ fun but very tiresome and must be careful at all time
*by B***N on November 3, 2015*

fun fun fun but very tiresome. I am average health but after 1/5th miles fast walking, I was out of breath. At first, it took about 5 minutes to be able to walk on my own. After a few hours I can do a little jogging but still can't flip nor high jump yet. Becareful, don't forget your protection. Be ware that the ease of picking it up quickly can lead you to feeling invincible and try to do crazy stuff. Even if you think you master it, remember you still can land on your face if you are not careful.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very surprised!
*by J***E on January 22, 2015*

Before I begin let me start by giving some background info: I am 6' and weigh ~160lbs.I decided to try these out and see what they were all about. I have to say that I am thoroughly pleased so far. I didn't expect this particular model to be as rugged as the more expensive ones. This is my first and presumably only pair of stilts but from my experience they aren't as advanced as other models. That being said, they are every bit as fun. I watched a number of youtube videos before even purchasing to understand how to not castrate myself should I own a pair someday. After reviewing a number of helpful tutorials and tips I was confident to try for myself. The first time I wore them was the most difficult. I quickly realized that I had to constantly shift my weight around. Why you ask? Because the rubber foot on the bottom of the stilts doesn't have the many complex muscles and tendons that our own legs and feet do. Standing completely still meant falling. Falling while wearing these meant that my head could easily take a 7'4'' dive to the grass/asphalt. These are stilts, they increase your overall height. Knowing this, it's almost crucial to wear a helmet, if not, at least a number of pads on elbows, knees, and especially wrists. Falling at a higher elevation means a harder fall, don't chance it by not protecting yourself. Also, DON'T TRY RUNNING YOUR FIRST TIME WEARING THEM, YOU WILL FALL. Now, let's break things down:Things I LIKE:-FUN-Sturdy(enough)-Great workout-Adjustable-People think you're Iron ManThings I DON'T Like-Velcro straps, I much prefer the snowboard-like binding mechanism of the more advanced models-The more you fall, the greater the likelihood of having to replace a part or several parts. However, it's never terribly expensive.-The plastic foot platform, I may end up reinforcing or replacing with aluminum.-The included rubber 'foot' doesn't grip the best on certain terrains and wears quickly, I have modified mine. Now to sum up: GREAT buy for the money, awesome fun, great workout, easily adjustable, while certain parts of the stilts might not be on par with the standard of higher priced models, these do just fine. With some very basic modifications these will send you to the moon. I fashioned a rubber sole from a bike tire held down by pipe clamps. Not only that, I padded the fiberglass spring to prevent the spring from fragmenting upon each bump or fall. Every time I wear these, I usually end up taping over the velcro to hold my legs in place. Nowadays I can run with 10 ft strides and jump 6 feet in the air. Heavier users in this range may achieve different results. There is no such thing as over-tightening with these. You'll want them to be tight, otherwise it's like trying to run a marathon with sandals that don't fit.Additional warnings to other potential users:-Although not required, I recommend wearing a helmet at least the first couple of times.-Don't wear jeans when using these.-Learn how to safely stand up, dismount, fall/roll, and orient yourself after falling.-Don't try running the first time wearing them-Broken part? Don't throw them away, all replacement parts are available online.-Don't let your friends try unless you're okay with the chance that they could fall a lot and reduce the life of the fiberglass spring from brutal impacts.-Don't drink and hop-Be smart
