**Q: The orange rotopax is 2 gallons like this one.  What makes this one worthy of an additional $10-$15?**
A: It doesn't. But it looks stealthier, spray painting the orange one failed miserably. Overpriced storage only buy it if you really need this particular type of storage and mount.

**Q: I have a unused red rotopax fuel.  Would it be safe to use for drinking water only?**
A: The red is for gasoline, it is not intended for storage of drinking water.  Regardless of what others tell you, there is a different plastic used in the different tanks, the red weighs about 1/3 more than the white.  The colors aren't just for looks, they are a different composition.

**Q: Is this a 2 pack? 2, 1 Gallon storage units that connect?**
A: This is ONE container, the size is 2gallons. Again this is ONE container. If you buy 2 of these containers, they can connect together for a total of 4 gallons worth of storage.

**Q: Can you connect two of these together ?**
A: Yes you can. they connect and they come with a plastic clip you can also add on to the side to make sure they stay together and dont jiggle lose.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holds more than I thought it would

This review is for the 2-gallon storage pack. I wanted to put jumper cables, tools, gloves, etc in the pack and mount it in the cargo area of my 4Runner. I was worried about all the reviews that said this box didn't have enough storage capacity. I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I gathered the stuff in the picture. Jumper cables, gloves, 2 bungee cords, trailer wiring harness, adjustable straps, 2 screw drivers, crescent wrench, channel locks, needle nose pliers, diagonal cutters, zip ties, and these adapter thingies for my bike rack. To keep like items together and separated from everything else, I put the tools in a little gray bag I had lying around, bungee cords in a camping stuff sack, wiring harness in a zip-lock bag, and bike rack adapters in a zip-lock bag. The stuffed everything in the Rotopax box. As you can see in the picture, it worked. There's even a little space leftover, which I plan to use for a roll of duct tape. The box plus gear weighs 18.1 pounds, which is heavier than I thought it would weigh. I'm afraid the weight will break the plastic trim panel I originally planned to mount it to. I'll need to see if I can devise a method of securing it without breaking anything.
