Perfect. Exceeded expectations
Times are tough and we can only afford a one bedroom apartment. I need that one bedroom for a nursery and so me and hubby decided on bunk beds to save space. I know most would find adults sleeping in bunk beds and separate beds as well as in the living room and dining room, and within a relationship weird but it works for us. I got a separate bunk bed for the dining room that has a dining set under it for me, this one is his. first off we bought this in just hopes that it was going to hold him without breaking. Iโm not saying I recommend people do this but he weighs 50 pounds over the exceeded weight limit and it holds him fine, bars donโt even bend. Picture is of him sleeping in it for reference. It is plenty safe for your kids. The ladder is painful but we added pool noodles just like everyone else said to do and turned out great. You do need two pool noodles. It does shake but I feel thatโs to be expected. Itโs not horrible like some people were claiming. I would use double sided tape on some items you place on the shelves so they stay in place. Did take a bit to put together and a few times had to take apart and do again on a few of the poles. All the holes in the poles do get a bit confusing but other than that went together just fine. As adults using bunk beds. We do have to watch our heads, canโt fully sit up due to how high it is but allows more space underneath. There isnโt a cut out for the ladder in the railing but hasnโt been an issue but I could see where it would be for kids to have to climb over it. I had seen some people claiming the ladder is not where it is in the picture and idk where theyโre getting that from. The ladder and bunk bed is just like the pictures, Iโm thinking they put it together wrong. Also some people were saying the metal is paper thin and bends. We didnโt have that issue at all. If it was paper thin metal it wouldnโt hold even over itโs recommended weight limit. Over all was worth the money and time to put together. Huge space saver and exactly what we were looking for.

Great bed for a Tween and perfect for Distance or Online learning in small room
My son is 11 and loves to game. This bed was perfect for his small room to add a computer without taking up more space. The shelves are incredibly sturdy, though you have to hold the bars tight and have them perfectly flat or the board won't line up. If everything is assembled exactly how it is written, this bed assembles perfectly with no hangups. I had no spare bolts or peices but the labeled spare ones offered in the package. I am a 5'4 woman and was able to assemble it on my own. At first there was some squeaking, but once you tighten the bolts down appropriately, there is no sound and everything is set solid. Overall, this is an excellent purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to make space for 1 or more kids in a room while allowing them space to use their computer and have a small chair behind them for reading. It's really roomy under the bunk! The items on the shelf can move a bit. I recommend bookends so nothing falls from getting up and down the ladder. One thing that would make this bed better is if the ladder had flat steps for a more comfortable climb. Otherwise, the bed more than met our needs. A big thing to be aware of is that the box weighs a ton and is super hard to move. I had to straddle it like a horse and with all my strength push it back a few inches at a time and almost died. *pretty sure I did and then came back to life* If the manufacturer could find a way to put the contents in two packages or be able to move 1-3 boxes joined together when shipped but can be moved separately, that would really be helpful. Otherwise you need a strong person much bigger than me to move it at all. GREAT PRODUCT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Really good product for the price
Ordered this bed because it appeared to be a good fit for our sonโs room. The quality of the bed exceeded my expectations. It was easy to put together and my son is very happy with the gained space in his room. The metal brackets that support the desk and shelves add a cool look that my ten year old likes, and also add noticeable stability to the structure. Desk and shelf material is light duty but once installed onto the metal brackets, feel solid. Received this bed in the promised time frame. The box is very heavy (130 lbs) and big. You will need a wheeled dolly or two people to get this to the room for assembly. Take your time unboxing and inspecting the components. My box was delivered with minor external damaged but no component issues. The product is packed, bagged, and separated neatly which prevents dings and scratches. I like the design and the installation instructions make it easy if you take your time. The main hardware pack is a single chipboard backed blister pack with approximately 100 machine screws. They are labeled and well organized. The pack also comes with the required allen wrench, however do yourself a favor and get a magnetic tip screwdriver and replace the bit with the correct size allen bit. You will install the screws just slightly more than finger tight initially and at the end you will need to go through and tighten all screws. A screwdriver like tool will help you avoid really sore fingers at the end of this tightening task. You may want to get help with the first few components, head, foot, and side rails, but once these are done the rest can be a one-person job. Last you will need an extra person to help you lift the completed bed and move it into the final location. Lift do not drag! I took my time and assembly took about three hours. Extra helper for the first ten minutes, and the rest with just me. Two notes on the ladder. The mounting holes for the ladder are only on right side of the outer rail. I needed it on the opposite end so drilled new holes and mounted using longer bolts and lock nuts. No big deal just be aware of slat location on inside rail before drilling. My son and I like it and it is good quality for the price paid. Would give it five stars but am having to add a foam pad to the ladder rungs, they are really uncomfortable on bare or socked feet.

My boys love their new beds!
Our boys share a room and had bunked together for 8 years. It was time to give them each their own personal space, so we ordered two of these beds. They were stoked at the idea of getting their own desk area (and I was curious to see who's the cleaner of the twoโverdict still out on that!). The first bed took about 2 hours to put together, given my husband had three children trying to "help" him. At one point, they put the wrong piece on somewhere (I think they put the round rods where the square rods go). So they had to backtrack and fix it. The second bed took less than 1.5 hours. The beds are very sturdy! Of course, my boys weigh under 100 lbs each, but these don't feel wobbly or squeak too much. The shelves are nice because they have a bar that lines them on three sides so they can use them like a bookshelf and books don't fall off the back or sides. The desk is a good height, but is a little tall if using just a folding chair (would need a chair that's a little taller). We added LED rope tape lights under the bed in the desk area so they have some lighting when they're drawing or hanging out in their own space. Having their own sides of the room has given them their own additional space and the beds are so tall that they like to just lay up there and whisper stories to themselves and it feels like (once again) that they have personal space. So much better in that "personal space" department than bunk beds!

Awesome Space-Saving Bed & Workspace. Love It!
Oh boy, this bed is a hit! Our 9-year-old son has a small bedroom and, now that heโs in 4th grade and has more homework, he needed a workspace of his own. Squeezing in a desk with his old room set-up was going to be tight. So I got to researching and ended up selecting this bed. See the pics to see how we transformed his bedroom. He LOVES IT! As for construction: The instructions make it pretty simple. Itโs mostly a matter of setting aside the time. Iโd say it took a total of 2.5 hours, with help from my 11-year-old daughter. The stage where Iโd say one person needs a hand is toward the beginning, when you assemble the main frame. I needed my daughter to hold up each side rail so I could affix it to the head/foot boards. Other than that, you can do it alone if necessary. As others said, the ladder rungs are a bit painful on bare feet, whether youโre a kid or an adult. I may rectify that, I may not. Not a deal breaker. Weโll see. I would suggest some kind of โbunkbed cubby holderโ thing to hold your phone/IPad etc. see it in the pic, tucked into the side rail of my sonโs bed, near the headboard. Itโs handy because thereโs no storage space up on the bed. Just a thought. Sturdy constitution. I plan to affix earthquake straps to the bed and wall for a little extra sturdiness (California here). Highly recommend! EDIT: I added the earthquake straps last night. I made sure to add one strap to each back end and to the wall, but I placed it high, to keep the bed more sturdy (it shakes a bit when climbing up on the bed). The straps gave it excellent sturdiness and brought the shaking waaaay down. So much more grounded now, and I have more peace of mind in anโ earthquake.

Beds started out great, now they are super noisy.
I bought two of these loft beds for my boys who share a bedroom in our two bedroom apartment. At first, they were the answer we were looking for - their room went from cluttered with no room to move, to a legit nice room with plenty of space for each boy to store their own items, have their own vibe and do their own work almost in private. They are high and spacious, and I put them both together myself with no help. The price was amazing for what we got and we were very happy with the purchase. Its now been about 10 months that they've been using the beds. About a month ago, they started to squeak in the worst way. Every single movement makes them squeak and I've started to get really nervous about it. Unfortunately, I cannot afford new beds. I was hoping to find a way to contact the maker of these beds to see what to do, but I am unable to find contact information for them. I'd love to be able to fix this issue and continue to use the beds but I'm getting nervous that they won't even get a full year out of them and we'll be back to having no beds for my children and no space in their room. Does anyone have the number or email of the company to write to?

Great Purchase
We bought 2 for the kids bedrooms as they are a little under 10x10... and the space needed to be maximized and functional. A bed/desk/bookshelf all in one that fits in the same place a twin bed does???... YES, please! Installation was a breeze but DOES take 2 hours for SURE. Put one together with assistance (from the 13yr old)... 2hrs. Put one together by myself... 2hrs. Instructions were simple and to the point. The only pain was that AFTER youโve hand assembled everything you have to go back and tighten all of the bolts with the Allen wrench/key provided (thereโs the other hour), and if you tighten as you go... good luck fitting everything together (not going to happen). It IS a bit wobbly which doesnโt even faze the kiddos, but made me a little nervous. The ladder will also murder your feet (again... does not faze the kids). Very nice grey tone, and will not fall over as the ladder doubles as sort of a kick-stand (plus, we anchored it to the wall). Great all-in-one bed for the price!

Excellent bed, great value
This was on sale for $200 and I feel for that money it is a very high quality product. I was considering building something like this but couldn't even touch it in materials alone much less the time it would take me. The only major downside we found is the ladder only goes in the spot where it is on the picture. In our case we needed it to be on the other side (so the desk can face the window in this particular room/corner). I thought I could reverse it by switching out the cross bars but the cross bars are matched underneath so don't try that or you'll end up doing some rework. We ended up putting the ladder on the end of the bed and securing it to the cross poles with wire. Also the bed is just a little wobbly but I plan to anchor it to the wall and that will fix that. Should note the ladder rungs are like 3/4" metal bars which dig into your feet a bit depending on how much you weigh (doesn't seem to bother the kids as much). Again for the value this is a 5-star product. The metal beams are totally solid, the machine work and bolt holes are all perfectly accurate, the shelving is quality fiberboard (?) and sturdy, and the mattress we used is perfectly comfortable on it If I had paid $400 I would think it's probably still 4-star for that price. My daughter loves it!

Great bed for a small space
Going from a large space to a small one I decided to purchase a loft bed and this one seemed the sturdy one. Like everyone said the ladder steps are awful and pool noodles help a lot. And not having an entrance is difficult. I had my grandfather make one for me. And now itโs much easier to get in and out. I highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for a loft bed.

Nice but not sturdy
Purchased for our 7 year old daughter. While it looks nice it is quite wobbly. Will have to anchor to the wall. Not a big deal. The ladder rungs are terrible!! Going to take the advice of another reviewer and put pool noodles on them. Very hard on the feet! Instructions were easy to follow and it looks exactly like the picture! Arrived early and our daughter loves it.
