I love this desk! It's strong and looks good. There was some minor chipping which I show in the pictures but hey nothing perfect and I can hide it well with some touch ups. I built it entirely on my own which I'd say is okay if you're determined but you definitely want someone to help you flip it over - not be cause you can't, but because you would risk damaging the desk. It's very very heavy. Instructions were clear. Assembly was simple. I don't recommend using powerful tools on the screws, this desk is strong but it's still compressed wood. Last thing you need is to screw something in to much and crack it. Then you might be here writing a one star review when it folds in on itself. For my gals: I attached eyelet lace trim underneath to make it a little more cozy, there are plenty of options to find on Amazon if you would like to do the same. Longer frilly fabrics on the side and back would be cute too!

This furniture withstands daily use of over eight hours and is comfortable to sit at. The L-shaped desk accommodates three large monitors, a small monitor, two laptops, a desk light, a label printer, two keyboards, and two mice, while still leaving room for some paperwork. The filing cabinet is spacious, providing space for a large multi-function printer with additional room left over. We are very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The writing desk is easy to assemble and can be put together by one person, while the L-shaped desk and filing cabinet are best assembled with two people. The instructions for the L-shaped desk were somewhat confusing, requiring careful attention to the details in order to ensure the pieces face correctly. So, allow yourself plenty of time for the L-shaped desk assembly if you decide to purchase it. The assembly directions for the writing desk and filing cabinet are very straightforward and easy to follow.

I put most of this together by myself before my husband got home and it was very easy to understand and put together. Very stable and amazing quality material. No scratches came on it for me. The holes all aligned with each other and gave me no issues. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good desk for a reasonable price!

Ok so to be completely honest I was a little hesitant of the quality of what we would receive because the price was low. I do have to openly state that the box came busted open on the side (no fault of shipper, nor company) it was just a heavy box (70lbs) and UPS I guess just had a hard time managing getting it here without the sides popping open. I was scared that pieces might had been lost, however on top of the box is a costumer service number with people working until 730 at night, and in the instruction manual there is a number basically on every page saying if you need a part just reach out. Back to product, I would say easy of putting together was 3 out of 5 as it would have been easier with a second person, as a one man show setting this up for my girlfriend that is about to move it, it was a TINY bit difficult at times. Things I would like to stress, is there are a few parts that need to be screwed in, I would suggest an electric drill set low as not to tear up the particle board. As far as the actual desk goes, WOW. I am impressed at their attention to detail. They REALLY thought this desk out as far as design goes. Everything flush mounts like it was meant to be and they include little white "push plugs" that go on top of any "silver" piece that could be seen from the outside. The best part of it is it REALLY looks like wood, the finish is wonderful, and lastly, the ends of the desk have these wood pieces that attach in a different direction so that it really gives it a "solid desk" appearance. HIGHLY suggest! It's gorgeous and very sturdy. Hope this helps the next person that might be on the fence about this purchase.

Solid desk, easy enough to put together although I had a hard time figuring out which way the camlocks were supposed to go in but other than that, it was straight forward to assemble, arrived exceptionally well packaged, is exactly as advertised and is a very sturdy desk

I put this desk together by myself. I found the step by step illustrated instructions easy to follow, but pay attention to the details. I loved that all the pre-drilled holes were perfect (not my experience in the past). The most challenging part of the whole thing was getting the box open! Very pleased with my purchase (plus it was less expensive than Wayfair and arrived much faster).
