Goot Heat clip H-2SL

The Goot Heat Clip H-2SL is a fantastic addition to any soldering setup. The build quality is excellent, and the aluminum material feels sturdy and reliable. It’s incredibly effective at dissipating heat during soldering, making it an essential tool for delicate jobs. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. It requires a bit of experience to use correctly and get the best results. For those with a steady hand and some soldering know-how, this clip is a game-changer!

These are precise and well made (Japan) heat sink clamps. They have a tight grip and fit into tight places. I just used them to solder microswitches and they helped dissipate heat before it reached the plastic switch housing.

Very good build quality for such small and lightweight devices.

These are very good, strong clips that stay in place without your wire slopping around in the teeth of a typical alligator clip. One with an angle on the end is handy in tight places. And I have add - I love free shipping for a $5.00 item coming from Tennessee to Iowa, to Illinois, to Kentucky, to Portland Oregon, to Spokane Washington and then another 130 miles to my house all in two days.

The springs are not flimsy. They clamp onto the object snuggly. I needed them to de-solder some polystyrene capacitors from a potentiometer and they kept the capacitor cool.

After a long search on the internet to find an effective small clip-on heatsink for use when soldering small components I found two basic types. The first type was the usual reverse tweezer type - some of which are a bit too large and unwieldy and all of which have smooth jaws so don't grip and stay in place as well as I would like. The second type are like the Goot Heat Clip Goot Heat clip H-2SL - small spring-actuated clamps - which are made of aluminium for better heat transfer. The springs on these clips are quite strong to compress but ideal for clamping on to a component. The jaws have tiny serrations that will grip two legs of a transistor simultaneously - but not three. The jaws easily grip with enough force to hold the clip in place without worrying about it slipping off. There are no finger plates (to help when squeezing the legs of the clip and to avoid any hot aluminium) as I have seen on similar but much more expensive clips of this type like the Hakko 610. In practice, this does not seem to matter and if I find there is a need for such plates then I'm sure the application of a couple of bits of epoxy putty would solve the problem. For the price, this pair of simple clips with one straight jaw and one bent jaw seems very good value and well made. The seller (TOYJNKY in Japan) sent them by airmail to the UK in only 8 days. Excellent product and service.

Eine Klemme war leider verbogen. Aber top Service von Amazon bei der Rückabwicklung. Und die verbliebene, nicht verbogene Klammer funktioniert super (ich löte nicht mehr ohne die Klammer). Daher 5* auch wenn eine der beiden Klammern defekt angekommen ist.

These clips are very handy, not only as heatsinks but also to hold a small component while soldering (especially the angled clip).
