I’ve tried a lot of whitening toothpastes over the years, and this Colgate Total formula is on a completely different level. I have used Colgate toothpaste, all my life. It is the best. It whiten your teeth and it helps if you have tooth sensitivity.

This particular toothpaste is my favorite. It doesn’t smell or taste funny. The paste is quality, and leaves your mouth feeling fresh, unlike some of the cheaper off brands. I bought this on Amazon because it was a decent price and Walmart was out of stock. This is the only thing that makes my mouth feel clean and breath feel fresh.

This is the same Colgate Total Whitening I have been using for years. I read a few reviews stating it's not.. a lot of them aren't current by years. Manufacturers change packaging all the time, in stores, for holidays and when they make a new a supplier buy of plastics for thier product. etc. If people read most of the products/photos shown, Amazon states clearly "Packaging may differ" for those reasons. All this being said, this is my same old toothpaste I've been using. I will add that the whitening aspect is very mild; which I prefer.. I have sensitive teeth and cant use strong whitening pastes or treatments. This is a great overall toothpaste at a great price!

I have tried several different toothpastes; and, I love Colgate products. I have never had a cavity while using Colgate. When I tried Crest, I formed cavities. I also like the flavor. My dentist recommends Colgate Total & Sensodine (for sensitive teeth). The only thing I would caution you about is using Colgate’s Renewal if you have veneers on your teeth. Veneers don’t change color when using whitening toothpaste. In fact, it tends to cause veneers to become rough. Hope this helps.

Like the smell

I wish the tubes were tamper proof because mine were sent in an envelope and the package was squished so when I got my toothbrush ready and finally got the really tough to open package opened, pulled out both tubes and lifted the cap off of one, the toothpaste went flying out of the tube. Thankfully, it was directed away from me and my reflexes were good, so I caught the first inch of toothpaste on my toothbrush. I brushed my teeth and it was more foamy an experience than I recall from tooth brushing. Ever. I've brushed my teeth thousands and thousands of times and this was the most bubbly in a good way. The tube is labeled as, "New Taste." ok, it's new but I don't know what that is. I like it and continue using it but I don't use the recommended inch since that's not truly necessary to clean my teeth, tongue and cheeks.
