I've been using Gain detergent for years because I love the fresh scent, but this Eco-Box packaging has made laundry even more convenient. Instead of lifting a heavy plastic jug every time I do laundry, the built-in spout makes it easy to dispense the detergent directly into the measuring cup with very little mess or dripping. The detergent itself cleans just as well as the traditional bottle. It leaves clothes smelling fresh, removes everyday dirt and stains, and works great in my HE washing machine. Even heavily worn clothes, towels, and my family's everyday laundry come out clean with that signature Gain scent that lasts long after washing. Another thing I appreciate is that the box takes up less space in my laundry room and is much easier to store than the bulky bottles. Since it's ultra-concentrated, a little goes a long way, and the Eco-Box lasts quite a while before needing to be replaced. If you're already a Gain fan, I highly recommend trying the Eco-Box version. It delivers the same cleaning performance while being easier to pour, easier to store, and more convenient for everyday use. It's a simple change that has made doing laundry just a little easier.

Gain has always been one of my favorite scents though I never bought their detergent. I have air fresheners, air spray, and even plastic gloves with the Gain name on them, so I’m quite familiar with the brand and scent... I read the reviews for this, the good & bad, then decided it was too good a deal to pass up. I noticed someone had mentioned that scent seemed different; in fact they said it was too strong and not like the scent they were familiar with. Well, far as I was concerned, stronger would be even better because I wanted a nice scent on my towels and things. Here’s a shocker though, it smelled fine in the jug so it’d be just right for my stuff but it wasn’t... Didn’t smell any scent at all and I had used a full cap. Instructions were to the top line for oversized loads. Next time I used a full and a 1/4, but still barely smelled it on the clothes after the dryer. I’m going to use 1 1/2 next load... I’ll let you know if I get that great Gain scent next load😊! I’m back, did two loads with two full capfuls. I could smell the Gain scent but not as much as , my mom's Downy, (fabric softener) back in the 60’s. Loved that smell on all our bedding & towels. Too bad I found out much later that running towels through fabric softener makes them less absorbent, so I stopped using them. You already know why I chose the Gain... The 👃 smell I 💕! Well that’s it. I’m a touch older now than when my mom washed those sheets, not to forget the hung on the line scent! At the price we paid here for two large jugs it was a great deal and it cleans well so make your own decision regarding that “Gain fresh scent!”.

I really like the way Gain Lavender scent smells. I work at night and I wash my bedding with Gain. I sleep fast and wake up feeling good. Hope Gain doesn't stop making this scent.

Bought this item when it was on special. Was skeptikle at first because it came in the box but I love the eco-box. It was very easy to use.

I had never used Gain before and once I realized how concentrated this detergent is, it's now a favourite. The box fits neatly on my laundry room shelf and you really need to use very little per load. It cleans my clothes just as well as Tide or any other detergent I've used. The only downfall is that there was a big price increase from my first to second order. I still recommend it though!

So I am happy about this upon arrival. Minimal packaging as shown in the photos. Which really is important to me. I also chose the eco box even though it costed more becuaSe when a new variation of business is tried in the market it can cost more initially until they know there is enough sold to bring the cost down. So I hope the cost comes down a few bucks. In fact once more chooses the "wine box" laundry option we should be rewarded by a lower price than the original plastic jug as per my picture. Gain has been a favourite reliable product for me. Happy it is considering changes to reduce to %60 less plastic use becuaSe I watched a documentary and those laundry jugs are a real problem and not as recyclable as you would have hoped. 5 stars for the earth!

Love the new packaging - reduction of unnecessary and non bio-degradable plastic. It is truly concentrated, a regular load is done with less than half the measuring cup of liquid. The only thing I would say is that if you can reduce the speed of liquid coming out when you open the little tap would be great as there is no way to pour back the access amount into the box. I barely moved the tap and the measuring cup was full. I used about half for a regular load, had to cover the rest in the cup with aluminum foil and use it for handwashing my delicates.
