Beautiful large solid oak coffee table

It’s a superb table and we use it in our living room. The glass too looks really good though we decided to not have the lower table at the bottom because we have a patterned carpet we wanted to be able to see through top. Solid design. Nice colour and definitely an ideal coffee table.

Build quality is superb assembling it took 30 mins and was easy with two people does not move but love how the glass part can be lifted out for extra peace of mind if ever needing to move making it much easier to move than one may think. This table is made from solid oak and has a really natural finish, it is as wide as long though so would only really suit as a centerpiece of a big room. Being a natural oiled finish the natural patterns on the wood really do stand out making it look like a piece of art. Holding up well and super strong adds so much to a otherwise quite plain room draws all the attention which is a good thing!

This is simply a beautiful piece of hardy furniture that would look stunning wherever you put it. The table arrives in, as you can imagine, a huge and heavy box and therefore I would recommend definitely having a two person assembly team! Putting it together is incredibly simple though (flat pack haters rest easy!) but the weight and heft of the pieces definitely need a good strong assembly team who know roughly what they're doing. Normally I dispense with the instructions, but not with this! Once assembled you will be taken aback by how attractive this table is. the grain in the oak is super-stunning and the table feels smooth and extremely well made. Mine has had a couple of bashes already and it feels and looks bulletproof, thankfully. The table is heavy so doesn't move around even when on a rug etc, and the feet wouldn't mark a wooden floor either. The glass within the table is solid and again, extremely attractive, as well as being easy to keep clean. This table provides a really stunning centrepiece to any room (please note the dimensions before you buy, it is quite a large table!), is easy to put together, very well made and all in all - excellent quality!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture that looks amazing when put together, a fabulously classy addition to any room It comes in a very large box and has to be put together by the vendor, but it's so simple to do. We managed to get it all assembled within the hour. The instructions are clear. The wood is solid and looks so elegant; it's a modern, but very classic design, with the addition of the glass feature on the top of the table. Do make sure that you take note of the dimensions though as it is large and you do need a good sized room to show it off at it's advantage. Useful shelf underneath for books and magazines. A fabulous, classy piece of furniture

I rarely leave 5 star reviews but this is a stunning piece of furniture. Be warned it is huge (at least for a 2 bedroom house) but if you have the space you can't go wrong with this. It's extremely heavy. I had to get a pro to put this together simply because of the weight. It took him 45 minutes. The oak is stunning and has a beautiful grain. The glass adds to its beauty. If your looking for good quality furniture this is for you.

Wir waren schon seit längerer Zeit auf der Suche nach einem quadratischen Tisch aus den Materialien Holz/ Glas. Hier wurde ich auf diesem Tisch aufmerksam. Die Lieferung kam zügig, leider jedoch mit einem kleinen Materialfehler (Holzsplitter im oberen Tischbereich... Haben gleich reklamiert; innerhalb von 3-4 Tagen wurde der Tisch über eine Spedition abgeholt und separat Ersatz geliefert. Hier war nun alles in Ordnung. Tisch ist super, Vollholz Wildeiche mit Glaseinsatz leicht getönt.... tolle Optik ... haben wir in dieser Form im Möbelhandel nicht gefunden.. Trotz der ersten fehlerhaften Lieferung gebe ich trotzdem 5 Sterne für die wirklich schnelle und unkomplizierte Bearbeitung und die freundliche und hilfsbereite Abwicklung des Amazon Teams.. Danke

Ein Tisch aus Massivholz ist schon etwas feines. Er ist nicht nur robust, sondern auch ordentlich schwer. Das Schönste ist aber, dass das Holz richtig gut riecht. Früher war ich ein Fan von Presspappe und Kunststoff-Furnier, da es einfach aufzubauen und günstig war. Mit dem Alter und der Erkenntnis eines halben Lebens kann ich jetzt jedem raten: Kauft Massivholz, kauft Qualität. Man hat viel länger etwas davon und schöner ist noch obendrein. Kommen wir aber nun zu dem Tisch aus Wildeiche. Eiche an sich hat immer etwas "bäuerliches". Die Wildeiche ist da etwas anders, allein schon durch die Farbe. Sie wirkt moderner, etwas gefälliger und zeitloser. Der Zusammenbau war für eine Einzelperson zu schaffen, obwohl bei der Ablageplatte 2 weitere Hände gut gewesen wären. Aber ich habe es auch allein hinbekommen. Alle Teile wurden sehr passgenau gearbeitet und alle Bohrungen waren exakt, so gab es keine Probleme. Der Aufbau hat ca. eine halbe Stunde gedauert und das Ergebnis ist tadellos. Der Tisch steht wie eine 1. Er wackelt nicht und hat verarbeitungstechnisch keine Mängel. Die Glasplatte ist leicht getönt und hat eine ordentliche Dicke! Ob es Sicherheitsglas ist, kann ich leider nicht beurteilen. Die Ablage, welche man durch die Glasplatte hindurch sieht, eignet sich wunderbar für Deko, Lichterketten, oder, wer möchte für Zeitschriften etc. Ich entscheide mich eher für saisonale Deko :-) ---- Fazit ---- Wer Qualität möchte, muss tiefer in die Tasche greifen. Die Wildeiche ist ein schönes, weich anzufassendes Holz, welches keine zu unruhige Maserung hat. Es passt vom Farbton gut zu Buche, daher beißt es sich auch nicht mit meinem Parkett. Ich bin super zufrieden und schon fast stolz auf diesen kleinen Tisch!
