Review: Cerkos the best of a 3-product comparison - I am a 55-year old woman and I started to develop a bunion condition on my left foot. Anxious to prevent the condition from worsening, I purchased three different brands of toe separator/straightener: the model from "Zen Toes" that wraps around your second toe and puts a chunky block between the first and second toes; the "Correct Toes" product (not sold through desertcart, $65 here: https://www.correcttoes.com/shop/correct-toes/correct-toes.html), and this Cerkos product. Then I waited a few months before writing this review. My conclusion is that "Cerkos Gel Toe Separators Straightener" is the best of the three products. The Zen Toes product has three drawbacks: it is an unattractive color; it has only one attachment point, which makes it feel unstable, as if it could rotate too easily, and the chunky part that sits between first and second toe is too "tall" (meaning, from where it rests on the footbed to where it meets the upper part of the toe box). The "Correct Toes" product is a quality product, but I find it has a few drawbacks: (1) it is far more expensive than the Cerkos product; (2) It is made of a harder plastic and designed having edges that can press into the flesh; (3) by putting product between the first-and-second *and* second-and-third *and* third-and-fourth *and* fourth-and-fifth toes, it adds too much bulk, making it impractical to wear in almost any normal shoe (even wide size). The Cerkos product uses a squishy-feeling material that makes it the most comfortable of the three, but not so squishy that it allows the big toe to squash over into the other toes - in other words, it accomplishes the purpose of the product with the maximum possible comfort. Some reviewers have pointed out that it "sticks" a bit to sock material as you pull on your socks, and this is true, but I think this is easily overcome with a bit of care while donning the socks. I have been wearing them nearly every day for about 5 weeks, and the product has not torn or physically degraded in any way. I purchased another 2 pair just to make sure I am not without them if I accidentally lose mine. Conclusion: I recommend this product. In addition, I offer a piece of personal advice: buy bigger shoes. Not to accommodate this product, but to help avoid the onset or worsening of bunion condition. I think my feet started growing when I reached age 50, and I did not notice until I had outgrown my shoes and caused a bunion condition. I ended up giving away all my shoes and buying shoes a full size bigger, and I am hoping that the roomy shoes, along with the Cerkos product, will help me avoid any future worsening of the bunion condition. Review: Good preventative measure - I noticed my toes starting to squish together in my running shoes, so I started wearing this, and they no longer rub together! Please note that this will not reverse any problems you already have, but can help prevent the issues from getting worse.

Good preventative measure
I noticed my toes starting to squish together in my running shoes, so I started wearing this, and they no longer rub together! Please note that this will not reverse any problems you already have, but can help prevent the issues from getting worse.

Comfortable and works.
It does work as far as separating the toes, but my hammer toe still sticks up in the air. But as a toe separator, which is what it is, it works well and is comfortable.

almost really good
well made and really comfortable. i purchased to use at night in bed, but the material is just tacky enough to drag on the sheets so i find it loose in the bed when i awake. not what i had in mind. works well under socks.

It's flimsy and tears easily.
NOT SILICONE. There must be hundreds of sellers on Amazon now describing their products as "silicone" when they are NOT. These are made of some smelly, flimsy material -- probably TPE or one of the newer synthetic formulas. A lot of people seem to think that everything flexible that's clear or white is silicone! Silicone is very durable, odorless, usually transparent, and is inert so it can't cause any skin allergies or other reactions from the human body. This stuff has a nasty chemical smell, and gives me contact dermatitis if used. It's flimsy and tears easily.

Could not have the down time for surgery so these little guys have been fantastic.
Outstanding. Have been looking at surgery for a long time because of my big toe joint where it meets the foot. Due to rheumatoid Arto. Could not have the down time for surgery so these little guys have been fantastic.

Met all expectations, great relief. Will recommend this product and order again

Soft and definitely not too tight - slightly loose but you don't want to cut off circulation. Haven't tried to work in them yet.
