NOTE: THE BOX DID COME SORT OF RIPPED APART. It’s because of how heavy the hex bases are and how the corners probably start ramming up against the edge of the box during shipping & transport. However, I think the only way to prevent that is for the company to change their packaging. They need to use styrofoam and possibly a shape that is not so long. I really don’t think returning and ordering another would have helped because it would have risked the same thing happening. The stands themselves were in brand new condition. No dings or dents or scratches despite the box being in bad shape. It takes like 5 mins to screw both of the poles to the bases and screw on the flat top piece. I installed them in the places I wanted on carpeted floor. I didn’t use the floor spikes. Didn’t really see a reason. Put my monitors on and BAM, more desk space and an overall better looking setup. I’m satisfied. Also I got these in one day so if the packaging wasn’t great, eh I don’t care. I got what I paid for and I’m pleased.

The description on site is incorrect. The top plate is 9 inch square not 9 1/2. Other than that the speaker stands look good. The adjustable height with the telescoping 3 “ diameter pole and locking pin makes it easy to get the speaker to your desired height and not worry about the pole slipping. The rubber feet hold them in place on wood floor . I only wish that the rubber feet were threaded to metal like the spikes they include for sitting on carpet. They seem sturdy enough at 11 lbs but I think I’m going to add more weight to the bottom. Pretty much the reason I ordered them was because of the hexagon shaped base. I’ll be putting Klipsch RP 502S speakers on them which are hex shaped as well. The SMS6600-P were my best alternative as wall space for mounting is very limited with one side being windows. So for the money these are a good value

So my first order got here with no shafts and only 1 floor base and monitor platform. The box was all mangled up. I chatted with an Amazon rep and she immediately shipped me another one. The second order came quickly and everything was in the box this time but I think that was a stroke of luck. The box was damaged again but it managed to hold everything this time. I gave 5 stars for the actual product because its very sturdy and robust. But the problem is with the packaging from the manufacturer. Its very flimsy and isnt sturdy enough for the heavy pieces that are inside. Its about 30 pounds of metal! Its not Amazon’s fault but unfortunately they bear the responsibility of the product reaching its destination. On Stage needs to pack this properly

These stands are very sturdy and take up little space - very good for tight studios, practice rooms, or stages. They my 8" powered studio monitors with ease (22 lbs a piece), and the stand speaker platform is perfectly sized for them.

The packaging was horrible. Both ends of the box had holes and the material itself had so many scratches. I decided to keep it because i dont want to go through all the return process. It works fine and its pretty sturdy. Just the presentation itself sucked. It looked like the facility had rats or what ever carrier handled this product.

Came in a box beat to hell and their were parts missing. Had to send it back.

I ordered the hex base model and was sent both of the stand tubes/poles, but only one base and only one platform. Decided to take a chance on a cheap option and I spent more for these over the triangle base ones to hopefully avoid having something like this happening, but here we are. What I did get did not come damaged like other reviews said, but I can see how that happens. The On Stage packaging is thin with absolutely no kind of padding or foam inside, so the thin and heavy bases and platforms cut through the box in transit. The one stand I was able to fully assemble is decent, somewhat wobbly but solid I guess. I've got KRK Rokit 6's which are fairly big and bulky, but they're about the right size for the platforms, there's maybe a centimeter of overhang. UPDATE: I ended up getting in touch with the manufacturer's customer service, and they responded promptly and have sent me replacement parts without me having to return any items. For that, I've raised my rating. This is a decent product, it's just unfortunate how many people seem to also have issues with receiving everything undamaged

I needed a stand for my new rear surround speakers. I wanted an adjustable stand that at the highest point places the speakers above people's heads while seating on the couch yet I can lower them if I am the only listener/watcher to place the tweeters near ear level on either side of me. I was concerned with them not being sturdy enough and not being stable enough to support 20lb speakers. The stand is heavy enough and the base is wide enough to properly support my speakers at the top setting. I'm considering buying barbell weights to slide down the tube to sit on top of the base to make them rock solid. The base is perfect size as it's big enough to support the speaker yet it's small enough to fit between my back wall and my couch. I'm using a pair of high quality (read heavy) bookshelf speakers at the rear and my main concern was stability as I obviously don't want them falling off. My speakers have a bottom mounting screw hole which I will be using by drilling a hole in the top plate of the stand which will make them 100% secure. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the On-Stage Hex Base Monitor Stand. Well made. Good quality speaker stand. Very happy with the product. I'm using this for my side channel for my cinema room. It can go up to pretty high which is great. I will recommend to anyone out there. Good value for the money. Very stable. I put my JBL HDI1600 Bookshelf Speakers on the stand.
