    Manker E11 Vs Klarus Mi7

*by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2016*

First I have to say that my Manker E11 CW works with several Li-ion protected batteries. My Manker E11 worked just fine with the following PROTECTED Li-ion 14500 batteries, Soshine, ON THE WAY, TangsFire, TrustFire, UltraFire, AW, and ThorFire. It WILL NOT work with Orbtronic 14500 Li-ion battery However, I seem to get the best performance by using AW IMR 3.7V Battery. Others have stated that they like the Klarus Mi7 better, however I don't. The Klarus Mi7 appears brighter due to it having a tighter beam. The Manker E11 beam is wider, but strong. Of course, to each one's own, but if one is going to use one's flashlight for camping or need the light to shine further outside, the Klarus Mi7 would be better suited for that type of environment. The Manker E11 would work best inside with its very bright wider beam.ADVANTAGES of the Manker: Smaller, 100Lm more light, more and easy to access functions, easy to operate, works with several types of batteries, comes in CW or NW light output.DISADVANTAGE, no electronic lockout you have to back off the tail cap threads in order to lockout the flashlight.Klarus Mi7 ADVANTAGES , tighter beam for longer distances, comes in different colors, has electronic switch lockout, simpler to operate only because it has less functions.DISADVANTAGE, less functions.Bottom line for me, I like them both and use them both, but if I had to choose only one, it would definitely be the Manker E11. But, like I said to each one's own.

I have many Manker lights and this is one of the best!

I got the Neutral White version of this light, and I really like this color so much better than the Cool White. Compared to the neutral white Fenix E05, it is definitely warmer, with higher CRI, but not quite as warm as a Nichia 219c such as the Manker E02. It has alot of the same modes as the E02, minus the engineering moonlight mode. There are 4 brightness levels, which are remembered by holding the power button for about 0.7 seconds. That's a nice thing about the Manker lights, the 0.7 second hold-down is just a perfect amount of time to not be annoying. It appears to use CC and not PWM so you don't see flicker at lower light levels.I use an EBL unprotected 14500 800mah battery, which I bought a 4-pack on Amazon and they all tested well above 800 mah on my SkyRC MC3000 charger. https://www.amazon.com/EBL-800mAh-Rechargeable-Battery-Storage/dp/B06Y5YRJ21/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1536904564&sr=8-3&keywords=ebl+800+1450014500 gives the maximum output of 800 lumens, which is insane for a light this size. It's a good EDC light. The lanyard included is very nice. Lube the o-ring up, I use Honda Part # 08798-9013 Shin-Etsu silicone grease, its the best stuff for o-rings, it lasts forever! You can get that on Amazon here. https://www.amazon.com/Honda-Genuine-08798-9013-Silicone-Grease/dp/B00GD49GTS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1536904033&sr=8-1&keywords=Honda+Part+%23+08798-9013

    A perfect all around flashlight

*by R***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2017*

This was primarily to have a brighter light for walking the dog at night. I am slowly relying on this little light more and more, it is small and runs on common AA batteries as well as 14500 rechargeable batteries. Now with 400 lumens on a AA battery this is more than powerful enough for any task other than search and rescue. It will cut through fog at this level of brightness and I have tried an AW 14500 and found that this light is capable of blinding output. As for my needs and those of most others this is a sub $30.00 flashlight that runs on multiple batteries including any AA battery that can be found anywhere, and it fits in a pocket, glove box, toolbox or your wife's purse if your not careful. This light is a perfect backup for everyday use or an emergency as it is priced right, and powered by readily available inexpensive batteries. I have tried Duracell, Energizer, Eneloop 2000 mAh, Eneloop Pro 2550 mAh AA and AW IMR 14500 3.7v 650 mAh batteries and while it is brighter with the AW IMR and Eneloop Pro batteries it is still a great light with and AA cells. You wont be disappointed.
