I love these! they work great because i have 1 earlobe where the hole is a little stretched out. My earring hang evenly using these and they make the earrings so light weight, i actually use them on the other ear too. **Q: Will they work for a completely torn lobe** A: I would think so. ONe of my piercings is quite elongated (not completely torn) and it works very well. I had surgery years ago to repair it, but the effects of surgery did not last. I would definitely try it - - they are 'invisible' on the back side and hold extremely well, even through a shower and swimming! Go for it. **Q: Do these fit snug enough for fine thin posts? Some of my eating posts are skinnier than the others.** A: I don't think the size of the post will matter too much. These are clear adhesive patches applied to the back of your ear, adding support to any pierced ear ring. I use hoops & studs with these. I wouldn't be without them! **Q: Im wondering if these would work for gauged ear hole that never closed properly** A: I guess it would depend on how big the hole is. They are about the size of a dime but oval. I started using these because I had one ear where the hole was stretched out to a slit so earring hung way too low and the bottom of the hole was thin so i was afraid the lobe might tear. Using these i can put the earring thru the Lobe wonder at the correct spot where the hole should be and earring hang evenly. They have worked great for me for probably 10 years now.
