Are these good for cake slices?

They would have to go in sideways and be fairly thin and small so I wouldn’t think these would be best for them.

how big are they in inches? Would 1 standard muffin fit in the bag with out the bag being too big and look empty?

The measurements: 8" in length (before folding over as shown in picture) and width (after pulling out the pleats on the sides) 5 1/2". I definitely think a muffin - probably 2 - would fit in the bag.
