Balboa 53238 4 Button Topside Control Panel for Mini Oval Heat Jacket 7' Cord

Perfect replacement for my spa's control unit that died. The unit came with the sealant to seal onto the spa along with the cover sticker separate so that you can screw in the control unit and then apply the cover sticker after.

Hot tub is 16 years old, already replaced the top, and had to fix a leak, this time it started turning itself on and off, with my breakers did not like. Took out the old controls, and ordered this, wasn't a 100% sure it woukd be compatible, but it was worth a shot. Arrived much faster than was stated, and after installing, hittub started right up, works like a charm. The old unit was secured with two small screws, this one just needs a silicone bead to secure, the display is a little bit smaller, but the housing is the exact size, fits snug. One of my better buys for sure.

I have a dream maker plug and play cottage collection spa that i purchased from wayfair. Of course it’s not branded as such and it’s taken a lot of effort to replace parts over the years. This too controller is smaller than the one the tub came with but it does fit (not as aesthetically pleasing) and was easy to install. Remove the existing screws UNDERNEATH the sticker on top of your controller, unplug the telephone like plug from the motherboard box and then reverse the steps with the new part. Works perfectly.

Easy use

This should replace the dream maker spa that matches the up down temp, jet, then light. Is smaller on the face and does NOT screw in but fits the opening. You’ll need to put a dap of silicone in the screw holes and the mounting tape didn’t hold so I added a small amount of silicone on the rear of the face. I like that this doesn’t have the sticker cover (which is what failed on my unit). Time will tell how long this lasts….

I bought this to replace the one on my hot tub that stopped working. After a lot of hard work in 108° humid heat, removing panels and feeding the wire through I thought my hard work was done. Imagine my surprise when the labeled buttons didn’t do what they were supposed to. The temperature buttons set off the jets and the other buttons control the tell but no button even turns on the lights. What a waste of my money!

Plug and Play. Was soooo simple to swap out of my old one. Great quality

Really wish they would make a totally encapsulated version so that they would last longer than a year.
