I bought this for my mother-in-law who wanted a piggy bank. She lives in an independent facility so I needed one that was not obvious when others came into her apartment. It blends so nicely with her decor and she just loved it. I purchased the yellow one so that it looked more like a real pineapple. Several folks complained about the finish, I found it to be just fine and so did my mother-in-law. No complaints!

Ok- the pineapple is kinda a riot! After I accidentally murdered her piggy bank my daughter asked for a funny fruit shaped bank. She’s 10 so naturally she thinks bananas are hilarious, but that bank was to small so she decided pineapples are also funny. It’s not huge but holds more coins than you think

It’s just ok. I wasn’t in love with it. Color is kinda blah. Maybe I’ll eventually repaint it. Who knows. But, it’s small and has some weight to it. If that helps. My 9 year old quirky daughter loves it though. That’s all that matters I guess.

This is a fun happy gift! It's thick and durable would make a great fun tropical gift for a preteen! Who doesn't like a pineapple piggy bank?
