Munchables Dragon Chew Necklace

This product was perfect for my 14 yr old autistic son. I have tried many things to help him with his need to chew on things and his anxiety. Many things he won't use because he gets embarrassed as many of the products look like they are for young children and he gets made fun of quite often. I chose the red dragon necklace and I have to say it was much better than I expected. It was a beautiful color and my son absolutely loved it! He has even gotten many compliments on this necklace and has been asked where he got it because it is "cool". He used it all weekend and it has endured repeated chewing and fidgeting. The product stayed intact and still looks great. Thank you so much for providing such a high quality product that is age appropriate so my son can wear it confidently. Not only can he use it to chew on, it has a texture on the back that he likes to use for his sensory/anxiety input. I will be ordering again!

I bought this product to help with stimming, and to act as a self soothing fidget. On the first day i obtained this product I proceeded to munch and chew it for hours on end. I still am munching it, and it is holding up Great. It is firm, yet squishy, and is a great fidget to just chew, squeeze, and incredibly easy to clean. Would definitely recommend!

I got this for my son who has adhd and sometimes has trouble staying focused. This necklace has actually helped a lot. He chews on it when nervous and it helps him to calm down and relax to regain focus better, and helps him from chewing on his fingernails. It's made really well and doesn't fall apart when being chewed on. It's a great length and not to big are bulky. It's worth the money to invest in this as something so small can help so much. The good, the bad and the unexpected... This thing is probably bigger than you think. It’s vividly colored and thick. Very durable and my daughter says it’s very chewable. She’s dragon obsessed and this is the only dragon one I’ve found thus far. It’s a little thicker than I would like, meaning it’s a mouthful, so a little weird for me, but she likes it, so it’s likely going to save her shirt collars. Getting real tired of replacing t-shirts because of chewed up collars in the front. There are these textured little bumps on the back (see video) and those are starting to come off, which isn’t great, but I don’t think it’s harmful... hopefully. UPDATE: About 1 month in, all the textured bumps on the back were gone. At 3 months most of the dragon had been chewed out in little pieces. If your kid is an aggressive chewer, this is not for them. The size did turn out to be an obstacle, it’s just to big to comfortably chew, so she reverted to the collars, especially after she chewed off the dragon. We ended up going back to the crystal shaped ones. The originals, but they seem to last the longest.

My daughter lately has been chewing on random things lately. Clothes, her tablet case, her fingers, her hair. You name it she was chewing on it. So I started the search for something else as she was ruining her clothes. I remembered my nephew having a baby chew necklace so went on a hunt to find ones more my daughters age. She’s 7. She’s had it since yesterday and it has worked beautifully. My daughter likes the quality of it says it feels nice to chew. She prefers the texture of this over the neck part of her shirt at least. I’m going to be ordering more for more versatility and styles.

As an Autistic person who stimms by biting, it gets the job done and it's cute. I just wish it wasn't so firm, it's almost hard as a rock.

My daughter needs to chew on something or it'll be straws and other damaging things. So far this has helped her in stressful situations and stopped from biting her nails!

This product is awesome! My 7 year old is a shirt chewer and I have bought some other lower quality items like this that he managed to chew through in a matter of days. He likes that this item looks like a necklace with a dragon and it’s durable as well. Will definitely be buying more in the future.

I'm a sensory-seeking adult and these are absolutely amazing. I bought both this one and the silver tree pendant. The pendants are a comfortable size to chew on without hurting the sides of your mouth; they've got a great ratio of give to firmness that can handle a great variety of chomping styles; plus, there are textures on the pendants, which provides further stimulation than just chewing. These have been helping me both with stimming and quitting smoking. My son loves it and it meets his sensory need for chewing but bits come off in his mouth as he chews. He loves that its discreet and he can wear it outside. Before this he was biting everything including me, and starting to put his fingers in his mouth.

Purchased this for my almost 13 year old boy with Tourette’s who chews his shirts. He is willing to give it a try - big win - and says it is comfortable to chew. Here’s hoping he will divert his chewing and save some of his clothes.
