Dangerously Defective
This product is dangerously defective. I have been very ill and now realize why. This morning I took 2 readings from the same finger stick on different strips. The first was 150. The second was 450... both nice round numbers. Yesterday I took 3 readings on 3 strips from the same finger stick. The first was 40. The second was Lo. The third was 350. Again all nice round numbers that are totally meaningless and unrelated to my blood sugar levels, which have been extremely high due to these false readings. Last weekend I tested at 120 in the morning and took a standard dose of insulin and went to the bank a couple of hours later. I could barely walk straight and had no energy. I felt like I was drowning in pain. Come to find out my blood sugar was actually over 600! The meter has been giving me nice, round normal figures when my blood sugar has been creeping higher and higher. I purchased this as an alternative to the ridiculously increasing prices of my old strips, but you get what you pay for. I'd return it, but it is past the return window because I was using up my old strips first. This should be pulled from the market. Please don't risk your health on these! I've lost enough time off work and am heading to the drug store to pay an arm and leg for some real test strips for my old meter.

Be careful when ordering as the strips are just slightly too wide for the older units. Obviously once you break the seal there are no returns.
